I seriously can't decide on a stroller and hoping maybe some of you who live in the city and experience snow can share what you use and if you're happy with your choice. The UB Vista is super popular in my area and everyone seems to say it's the one to get. But it also just seems so heavy and huge and I've read a lot of people say it's annoying getting around with it in the city because it's difficult in stores and restaurants and on transit. But they also say it's the best in the snow and bad conditions and maneuvers extremely well. I'm not sure which is the most important factor in there.
Is there another stroller that's more compact/lightweight that can still manage snowy winters? Or does that just not exist (seems kind of crazy if it doesn't!)?
But that's totally more of the size I'd want.
). If you were looking elsewhere, I'd look at models with comparable, large tires. The small hard plastic wheels of most light weight strollers just won't push throw snow. All that said, the vista is heavy for real to carry, so if you are in a walk up building or need to go up and down a lot of stairs to get to public transit, it may be a problem.
