Tell me about your electric pump and why you love it ! I have been using a hand pump and am pulping 3 oz at a time abdvit takes less than 5 min . but prob need to invest in an electric pump for return to work in may ?? Or could I just use the manual ??

Sounds like you're doing pretty awesome with your ol' squeezy, but for me a double electric is a must! It saves so much time to do both at once AND if you have a hands-free pumping bra you can do hellobee at the same time
I have a Medela PISA but if I had to do it all again I'd consider a Hygeia EnJoye.

I have the Medela Freestyle . . . it's a tiny, portable, hands-free, double electric that I don't have any issues with. I also have a manual pump, but I have never used it, so I can't compare the two. I appreciate being able to work while pumping, and that I don't have to do my boobs one at a time (which, in my mind, means less time pumping overall . . . even though it is only 30 mintues, it's amazingly disruptive to my day!).

I have two manual pumps and a Medela Freestyle. For work, I'd say that an electric is a must. I love how portable the Freestyle is and the fact that it's both boobs at a time. I keep a manual at my desk as a back up (because I've made the mistake of leaving a necessary pump piece at home before).

I have the Medela Pump in Style... I agree that a double electric is necessary once you return to work. It will save you a lot of time, and I've read that you will get more output if you pump both breasts at the same time rather than one after the other.
@MsLipGloss: I also don't love pumping, In a very I actually hate it sort of way.

Right now we block feed so I only pump one side! Those pump sessions are 3oz from one side ! I need to call my insurance co to see if they will cover the costs

I have a Pump in Style Advanced. I think if you work FT a double electric and a hands-free bra is a must to make things quicker/easier. I am able to work while pumping since I have my own office. And I also keep a manual in my desk as a backup, I've never actually forgotten a pump part in five months of pumping but just in case!

I don't love my pump but I do love being able to work or play on the computer while I pump. I use a hands free bra with my Pump in Style Advanced (Medela). It works fine.

I have two pumps, one I used with DD and one I'm using now with DS. For DD I had the Lansinoh Double Electric (no longer available but very similar to the Ameda Purely Yours). For DS I have the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. I like and have success with both.
