Of course DH basically broke our monitor last night....2 weeks before I'll be delivering DD2...awesome...
I had a motorola and was generally happy. I was needing a second camera anyways - so its not awful timing....but looking for input from you all which ones you like/love/hate and why...

Haaaaaaaate my Summer video monitor. Everything on it broke in less than 6 months. Avoid the brand entirely if possible

I have a Levana... Never heard of the brand before but after doing some research we really liked the features. Used it for year plus now with no issues!

We have the same one as @Mrs. Carrot but the thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't automatically scan between the multiple cameras so we still used just an audio monitor for one of the kids. It's held up well though for the past 2 years.

We had a Motorola monitor that finally bit the dust after 4 years (the plug wouldn't stay in). We bought the new Motorola one and I love it! It's 100x better than the old one with more bells and whistles (zoom, better adaptor plug). Highly recommend!

@Mrs D: We have a summer infant baby touch that has worked perfectly for 3.5 years. It's discontinued, but I just bought a second camera for it off of ebay. We've totally loved it and trust the brand.

We have the same one as @dookie32: and like it so far, probably 6mos in. The image quality seems good, though once in a while the screen blips in a weird way that makes me wonder if that'll go out eventually, but so far it just lasts for a second then goes back to normal. I looked at many & talked to BrU sales associates about which get returned. They actually said the Motorolas do, but I read even worse reviews for the Summer Infant ones, so who knows. I considered one of the Levana monitors, but forget now why I decided against them. I think I just got tired of researching & figured I needed to just try one. Lol! Long story short, I liked the features of the MBP36S.

@GoGoSnoGirl: I thought about getting another brand but like you said there are really no good reviews for any of them. My only hesitation was the fact that the Motorola Customer Service is so bad but that's why I purchased from Amazon.
