DD is 14 months old and has recently started chatting up a storm. Her current favourite word is "Hi!". She is also super close to walking, but she's just too chicken to let go. What milestone has your LO recently hit?

DH has started rocking back and forth on all fours, and this week he's started babbling a tiny bit - he says "mamamamamamamama" (I'm hoping he'll shorten that in time for Sunday!). He's 6.5 months old.

DD is four months and has started sitting unassisted. I still have to put her in that position, but she'll stay upright for quite a while.

@beehive: I have started babbling a little bit, and the rocking is very enjoyable, thanks, but I think you meant LO rather than DH in this particular instance.

Lorelei is talking SO MUCH. We are just getting a kick out of it. Ellie is reading like a madwoman. I just about die when she pulls Lorelei into her lap and reads her a story. I will have to share some pictures. *Swoon*

Olive started walking just before she turned 18 months old. But since she waited so long to walk, she mastered it really quickly. She just turned 19 months and now she's a busy little walker!

@FutureMrsMcK: I know! I died. And mamafailed by not getting the recorder out quick enough. Although I think it'll be quite a while until he's fully walking, if that makes sense?

@sera_87: Yep, makes sense! But still super exciting!
It's been a while since E has hit any milestone--cruising at 7.5 months. I'm hoping his first word will be next.

LO is 21 months and is a living parrot! She copies EVERYTHING she hears. Her vocabulary is growing daily. Recently she's been calling me by my first name (sigh).
