Does anyone know if there's a way to get an extra charger or battery pack for the Motorola video monitor?
My cat chewed through my Iphone charger last night so now I'm paranoid that he's going to chew through the charger for the monitor and we'll have no way to keep it charged or on.

Interesting question. I don't have an answer, but I would love to have another charger for our downstairs.

I was just thinking I need a spare. The battery has run out a few times on babysitters. We keep the chafer in our room and it is tethered to my bedside table to keep LO from pulling on it. That does not make it easy to move for a babysitter...

@BelugaBean: omg I just remembered that you posted this and I saw it in the middle of the night but didn't want to type out my response on the smartphone.
We bought a generic charger and it works for the Motorola!! I think Wagon Sr. just brought it to radio shack and identified the size and voltage (??) it needed, then ordered it off of Amazon. I'll try to snap a pic and post it here when I get home tonight!! It's SO useful to have one charger upstairs in our room and one downstairs in the living room.

I will say that it's NOT a perfect fit, you have to fiddle it a bit. But it's worth it to have an extra. Our video monitor has only been used for about 5 months and the wires in the cord are already exposed!

I bought a generic one off eBay and it works just fine - it's very short though so I'd check cable length!
