When you started your MSPI baby on solids, did it have any effect on their willingness to drink their formula? We are thinking of wading a toe into solids next weekend but I just got to thinking about how our pediatrician had warned us how awful Nutramigen tastes. And when she was still getting both breast milk and formula, she definitely ate much less overall (I suspect because she didn't like the taste of the nutramigen so switching back and forth was hard on her and she never really wanted to drink the formula unless she was starving).
So now I'm worried that once we start solids with her she'll realize how good food can taste and start refusing her gross formula! Anyone else have this issue? Or am I worrying for nothing?
I was thinking of doing this, but it was recommended we do BLW full stop, rather than doing any purees, because there is a concern that spoon feeding will continue our issues with her food refusal since it is us feeding her. So we were planning to just start her with whole soft veggies.
Gah so many ways to try to do this!
