I've experienced my first chemical loss. Its something that I heard of but never believed in until it happened to me. My LDR S/O and I found that we were fertile while we visited each other. So we quickly began to try to conceive. Everything seemed fine. Within 2 weeks symptoms were showing up left and right. I get to week 4 and I got my first faint positive. It was so faint I had a neighbor come over to confirm they could see it. Then that night I began to bleed, I went to the ER and was told there was a low level of hormones but the bleeding showed it to be a chemical pregnancy. However, the ER doctor said we'll treat you for pelvic pain and he gave me a prescription, then sent me on my way. I have no other confirmation that it was a chemical pregnancy. He told me its like coming into the doctor's office complaining about a cold. He's only going to treat and list symptoms into my record. My loss is not even acknowledged. My S/O doesn't believe anything that happened because of it. My heart is broken because I can't prove anything and I can't even begin to pick up the pieces. Chemical pregnancy has turned my life upside down. It feels like some type of sick joke.
