A lactation consultant came over to watch LO nurse, and I handed him to her so I could switch positions. I realized he was soaking wet so I got out a new diaper and jammies for him. His diaper was completely dry... I had leaked all over him with my other boob! Whoops!

Haha! My only embarrassing moment (related to nursing) was when I left DD for 6 hours to go buy a car. After we were driving home in our new car, DH told me the front of shirt was soaked! Sooo mortified!

That was a regular occurrence for me, lol.

I remember shooting milk across the kitchen when I was "airing out". Oy. I wore nursing pads 24/7 for the first months after that!

Yeah that happens. Little miss miss is 8 months and sometimes I notice mystery wet spots on her only to realize it's cause I'm leaking.

Oh man, I do that all the time, even after almost 6 months. One of us is usually wet by the end of a nursing session. I have yet to completely figure out how to prevent that.

I was seriously mystified the first time that happened to me. I buy a case (4 boxes) of nursing pads each month on amazon subscribe and save.

@dagret: I just finally was brave enough to go the day (and then night) without using them at 5 months!
@grizz: I used lanisoh disposables after having issues with reusables and never had any issues.

Haha, this happens to me all. the. time. I always have to change her after I feed if I'm not wearing nursing pads. I've been using the Lansinoh disposables, but I'm really going through them, so might try some reusables!

Oh that happened to me multiple times before I finally figured out he was wet from my boob. I could never figure out how he was peeing out of the side of his diaper.

@grizz: I use lansinoh. And bonus, the breast pads on s&s come with a trial pack of breastmilk bags.

@dagret: I bought a case and have only used them 1-2x. I have 3 unopened boxess and a 4th almost full box. I can post them in the classifieds if you're interested.
I guess the one benefit of a crappy supply is no leaking!

Yes. Nursing pads became my number 1 accessory for the first year.
