Poor kid. If this were mine, I would immediately suspend all tv rules and let her pretty much go to town. Anything to keep a toddler quiet and entertained without running around.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. It's tough figuring out how to manage work and deal with a handicapped toddler at home. -
Poor little guy! Thankfully kids heal quickly from these things. maybe start him back at school for mornings only and then take him back for afternoons once he perks up a bit? I bet his cast will get lots of extra attention from his friends, which could be fun for him
