I'm 7w1d and needed new pants for work, so at the advice of some helpful bees I bought maternity pants. And now I'm scared to leave my desk because they're falling off. They're the right size, the legs are definitely snug. But I have no butt to keep them up and then start sliding down when I walk.
Any suggestions? Commiseration? lol

Yeah I would have had that problem at 7 weeks too-- regular pants too tight, but mat pants falling off. Do you have a bella band? I hear wearing one of them over the pants help. Also, are they full panel? I found folding the panel down, so the top edge was over the pants part (not the panel part) helped the whole thing stay up a little better.
At that point, I was just wearing regular pants that I could put a belt over and leave the button undone. Not a great look, but I wasn't ready for mat pants for a few more weeks (plus, i was nervous to buy anything anyway).

@MrsCB: I'm 16wks and as my normal jeans have been getting a little tight, a couple of weeks ago I bought some maternity jeans, the band over the bump variety. I know how you feel... we went on a long walk yesterday and DH kept laughing at me as I had to stop every 10mins to pull my jeans back up! I figure I'm probably slightly too small for them at the moment and as soon as my bump gets a bit bigger, I'll be ok. Are there hoops for a belt you can wear in the meantime?

That 8-12 week time is the worst!! I sometimes would wear a tight undershirt/cami to help hold them in place a bit.

I wore my regular jeans but did the rubber band/hair tie trick.

I just fold them over! I'm not flat-stomached by any means so I don't have that problem haha

Yeah, I'm 9 weeks today and my 2nd pair of work pants have officially crossed over into the land of not buttoning. I have a stretchy long tank layered under my longer shirt I'm wearing...fail.

Wear a bella band over them. I'm due tomorrow (EEK!) and my favourite maternity jeans (Gap long and lean) still fall down if I don't wear a bella band over top of them.

I agree with PP's. Bella bands have been a life saver throughout my pregnancy. I am 28 weeks and can still wear most of my work pants with them. I also have some maternity jeans that fall down if I don't wear them. Definitely worth the investment!

@hergreenapples: Oh yeah, I should have said even now, 24 weeks, definitely in mat clothes, some of my pants always feel like they are falling down a little anyway. But not like in the beginning, for me at least. Maybe I should get a band.
My Gap black pants (modern boot cut, maybe, full panel) actually stay put. It's amazing.
