Awesome story!
Your friend saying she would have used her shirt reminds me of a story a doula friend told me. Similar story, delivered in a parking lot on the way to the hospital. The doula pulled off her t-shirt to wrap the baby in and showed up at the hospital in her bra. Ever since then that hospital refers to her as "the stripper doula". -

Love your story! Congrats! And I laughed out loud thinking of what the folks in the house must've thought about the pants-less woman in their yard and the fire trucks and ambulance that were rolling up. LOL!
I think it's too funny to get your friend some scrubs! Or other "quick themed" gifts, like gift cards to In-and-Out, Jiffy Lube, Speedway restaurant, etc, and in the card you can tell her that they won't expire in 20 minutes.
