My nanny has been sick this whole week and hubs and I are taking turns staying home with the baby. It isn't the worst case scenario since he has time banked and I can do some work from home, but it still stresses me out. Again, not career threatening, but I had to cancel a meeting today.

What are my other options? My family is close but still an hour away and they work too and because I work, I don't really know of any SAHMs that I could maybe ask for help or a playdate (and he is still a little young for playdates).

When your childcare provider is sick, do you just suck it up and take time also?
