We are in the process of hiring a new nanny as our gave her notice the day before Christmas. We have never had to interview anyone before (our other nanny is family) so anyone have any pointers or a list of things we should be asking?

@cheert16: I found a good checklist on care.com and a good guide on Park Slope Parents. We just went through this process and I mainly focused on questions about experience, cpr certifications, etc. then I called references and got my REAL info there. I was actually kind of shocked what kind of info I got when I called previous families and dug around a little.
