I know that daycare centers will give out reports with the times when your child ate, slept, had his diaper changed/etc.
If you have a nanny or someone else who cares for your LO in your home like a family member, do you have them write those things down for you?

When the girls I watched were small, I tracked in the same notebook the parents used. Diapers, food, bottle oz and naps!
Edit - I also kept a running list of words when they were starting to speak

My mom is our primary caretaker and she used to journal everything, now that we have a pretty consistent routine, she texts me throughout the day on what they're up to, how DS has napped, ate, etc. (He's almost 9 months!)

I've only had one family that wanted me to keep track.
ETA- Some family ask the nannies to do it and others don't, it is a total personal preference thing. It isn't unheard of of for the nanny to do it.

Thanks everybody! I'm not like crazy for tracking everything, but I am curious about his naps. Our family member who watches LO is not too technology-savvy, so the idea of a notebook is great - she can just use a new page for every day. Thanks again!
