HAHA. I love watermelon!!
my latest pet peeve is that its cheaper to buy a huge, whole watermelon than 1/4 or a 1/2....but I can never finish it before it goes bad!!

@sorrycharlie: oh my gosh are you kidding?! I can eat a whole fourth in one sitting!! haha :):) between DH and I it can be gone in 2-3 days.

@Coco Bee: lol! see it depends on my mood..so I'll eat a TON of it one day, and then take a day off, then I'm afraid of it being yucky after a couple days. I'm so paranoid!! my dog absolutely loves it though, so if I am nervous I give him the rest...he thinks it's the best day ever.

haha i haven't had much watermelon this summer! I LOVE it, but hate cutting it..

@sorrycharlie: We buy watermelon and have it for dinner a few nights and I always take some in my lunch! I could eat watermelon every day and not get tired of it!

@chopsuey119: I found out my husband HATES eating it cut up. I cut up an entire half of a watermelon and he didn't eat it at all. He instead cut the other half into wedges.

I usually love watermelon but I haven't purchased one this summer either. It's probably because I can't finish a whole one.
I wonder if you can freeze it.
Oh, I looked. You can but it changes the consistency. This site has some good ideas for frozen watermelon... Watermelon freezer pops, jams, jello, margaritas.

i just got done eating some, it wasnt to bad cutting it up either, i was dreading taht part!
