I got Charlie some imitation Natives from Gap when there was a sale because I was too cheap to buy the real ones. They were like 1/3 of the cost:

Also I never know if shoes are going to work for Charlie until after he wears them for a while. He often starts complaining that his feet hurt after a couple of wears, and then he doesn't want to wear certain shoes anymore. So I didn't want to spend money on Natives that he ended up not wearing, and he kept kicking off his crocs.

Anyway Charlie loves his (fake) Natives, they stay on, and they're super cute. I'm a fan! So if you're contemplating getting them as a summer shoe for your LO, I highly recommend them!
