My baby has a nasty neck rash in the folds. Should I put anything on it or just keep it dry?

Is it really red with any white "cheese" or goo? If so, it might be a yeast infection. LO has gotten them before. For a yeast infection, our doc said to do a thin coat of miconazole (yeast inf. cream).

Yeah J had white in his neck rolls and they were red too. I just washed well and made sure the rolls were dry.

If it is just red dots, then I would keep it dry. Especially after baths.

LO had this for the longest time. He was a chubby little thing and his neck rolls trapped everything; milk that dribbled down, lint, etc. lol. We would just make sure we cleaned it every night. Sometimes we put baby powder and other times we used his diaper cream under his neck and it would clear it up by the next day (we use pinxav cream). It would get real red and raw so the cream helped the best. But def. try and keep it dry!

I think my toddler has a heat rash on the back of her neck. Her hair is almost long enough to go into a pony tail but not yet.
