I need to dress up as a raspberry for Halloween and I have no idea how to go about it. Help! Anyone have any good ideas of how to make myself look like a raspberry?? I found this picture online, but I'd prefer not to use balloons if possible because I am dressing up for work and am worried about being able to sit at my desk with huge balloons. (I'm also worried about them popping in the car on the way to work.) Let me know if y'all can think of something else I could use. Thanks!

Hmmm...a raspberry is tough to dress up as! Maybe you could try large felt circles and wear a maroon/red shirt and legging?

@Sammyfab: The felt circles are a great idea!! I was also thinking I could attach them with velcro so that I could just quickly put them on when I get to work and not have to drive with them on and in the way.

Not sure how much you want to spend.. you could buy raspberry colored fabric and cut into small squares, gather up into a pouch and stuff with toilet paper, rubber band, safety pin or otherwise attach to a shirt?

@Leialou: Not really a theme. The term "RAS" (stands for Rotating Assignment System) is a term that's used daily in our office, so it's just a play on that. Our office has a costume contest and the prize is a Starbucks giftcard so you know I'm all over that...

This sounds like a lot of work, but wouldn't be too uncomfortable: What if you bought some purple/raspberry colored nylons and filled them with cotton batting (like pillow filler)?

@artbee: Pom pom balls did cross my mind. I also thought about those styrofoam balls that kids use to make solar systems (because they come in different sizes and I could spray paint them), but I am worried they might be too heavy

@lawbee11: Styrofoam balls are also pretty expensive. Even if you got them at the dollar store that would add up. For budget wise I think the felt circles sounds like your best bet.
