This will be our first Christmas in our new house, and also our first Christmas to get a real tree/go all-out decorating. I'd like some ideas for a tree topper. We're not religious, so I'm looking for something other than a cross or an angel. I know a lot of people do stars. Have you seen anything cute/unique on Etsy or any other websites? If so, will you post a picture or a link below? Thanks!

One Christmas I decorated my ex's parents' tree. White and silver glass balls and I bought tons of ribbon and made small ribbons for the tree and a huge one for the top. Wish I had a picture to share..

I was going to suggest a big bow like @Chopsuey119 suggested. If you don't want to make one, etsy has a ton. We have a star but we really need something new. I am going to wait till next year when hopefully we will have a new tree.

My aunt tops her tree with a huge bow and wraps the rest of the ribbon around the tree. I love how it looks. I'll text you a pic because I don't have one without cousins in it so I don't want to post it here. We top our tree with a star. It isn't anything special though, we got it at Target.

I'm not doing a star either, so here are some ideas:
My MIL calls them "shooters", but it's basically Ting and beaded sticks like you find at hobby lobby that you just "shoot" out of the top of your tree. A big bow is cute too!

One of my friends does a really nice bow, kind of like the last photo @MrsTiz: posted. I love the way bows look. I also like stars too...

We just bought a red metal star ornament that is rather big and are plannin on using it. DH didn't want anything too flashy this year. I've done bows in the past too, they are always pretty.
