Hi there,
I'm really struggling... I'm 30 and had a MMC at 12 weeks in November. I'm now on my third cycle after Miscarriage and I know that's not a lot of time but I honestly feel panicked about the whole thing. I try to remember each day I'm one day closer to my baby but some days like today I fail. It really helps reading stories from other moms that have been through pregnancy loss... Please help. Thanks.

I haven't been there but I do know that you are absolutely not alone in what you're going through. I hope lots of moms who have been through losses see this and tell you about their ultimate success. Just last night I was talking to my best friend about her amazing 4 month old baby boy who she conceived following a MC at 10 weeks. Even those of us who haven't suffered a loss are here if you need to talk to it out. Just try to focus on all the wonderful things you already have in your life and hopefully that will take some pressure off. But I know from first hand experience with TTC that's easier said than done! Good luck!

i know it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when pain is still so new, but try to do something nice for yourself to take your mind off of ttc. remember that all of us have gone on to conceive beautiful, happy children, and it will happen for you too!

unfortunately (and/or fortunately), you're not alone. i went through a miscarriage back in june 10. and now, i'm pregnant with my 2 babies! chin up, gf! and stay positive - even though it's so hard!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can totally relate to you right now. I'm going through the same thing. I lost my baby at 8 weeks (didn't find out until almost 4 weeks later) followed by a D&C back in the beginning of September. My doc told me it would take about 6 weeks to get my first period, so around that time DH and I had unprotected sex one time thinking it would be fine. Well... a couple weeks later I was spotting and had an inkling I was pregnant. Turns out I was right, but I knew I was already losing it.
We just finally went through our first cycle of trying. I didn't get pregnant. My period started yesterday and I was so disappointed. I cried. And cried again after work because I was reminded, yet again, of what we've lost. It's hard. I'm still so sad over our losses. My heart aches. And for me the only thing that feels like it could help me, is getting pregnant again. My due date is approaching in March, and I'm dreading it. I feel like I have to get pregnant again before that.
Know that you are not alone in what you're going through. It's hard and it sucks. And no one talks about this part of trying for a baby. *big hugs* I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that my story can help you in some way.

We MC'd in August at 10 weeks. Our perinatal doctor was pretty conservative and told us to not try again for 2 cycles. I spoke with my regular ob-gyn and said he thought waiting one cycle was fine but we were already just past O day for cycle 2, so qw quickly tried and missed it. Since then it's been 3 cycles of hope and then disappointment. It makes me worry too, especially because we got pregnant on the first shot last time. It's at a point where my Hubs looks at me, quite sad, and tells me that he just wants a baby.
I guess the only advice that I have is have somewhere to talk about it (here) and lean on your SO.

I have not MCd but my sister had a still birth at 22 weeks. She now has an (almost) 7 year old. The pain can be so debilitating and the uncertainty almost as bad. I'm with Bee on this one...go do something nice for yourself. Know that your feelings are valid, and that this will get better.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost one a year ago on 12.31.11. I know how painful it is each month that passes and you get a BFN. 11 cycles passed for me before we got another BFP. I'm now 10w3d and scared out of my mind. We got PG during our last natural cycle before IVF. It definitely takes longer for some people than others. I wish you luck in your TTC journey. You are not alone! Have faith that it will happen again!
