I'm freaking the hell out. I just got back from an appointment for DD. At her 6 month appointment, the doc noted that her head size is rapidly increasing (as in, went from 50th percentile to 90th percentile to 100th percentile in 4 months. We were instructed to come back in 6 weeks (today) for a head check. Her head is STILL rapidly growing (it's not following the curve) and now we have to go in to see the neurosurgeon to possibly have a CT scan. I'm terrified. I know in all likelihood, she's fine and just has a huge head, but I lost one of my friends three months ago to a brain tumor, so it's scaring the bejeesus out of me.

Sorry, just had to get that out. I almost lost it on the phone with the scheduler, and I needed to vent it a bit so I can hold it together the rest of the day.
