How long did your LO wear newborn clothes? N is 3 months next week and still able to fit his newborn onesies with a little room in them but not tight yet but not the pants though and I was trying to decide should I just moved him to 0-3 months or let him wear the newborns until the don't fit anymore?

We're going to be in them for a while, I think! She's a peanut -born 7 lbs 2 oz, but then lost a bunch the next week. I suspect that we're only back to her birth weight within the last week or so. She was three weeks yesterday, and I feel like we'll be in them for at least a month!

We wore them a looong time. She was 5lbs 8oz, so we were in newborn for like 8 weeks? Some newborn things she wore longer depending on the item.
I had to send DH for a couple of preemie sleepers - the NB ones were massive on her!

E grew out of her NB clothes around 4 weeks old, but A was in them until closer to 6-7 weeks I believe. I prefer clothes to be a littler bigger though and roll them as needed versus being too tight/small/short.

Maybe 2 weeks at the most. He was almost 9 lbs at birth, though.

He wore them for 2 weeks and then we had to switch over to 0-3. Now we are in 3-6!

I think she wore them for six and my son for 4. One was born 6-14 and the other 6-3

Wow how is Noah still fitting his nb at almost 3 months at his last visit two weeks ago he was 10lbs 12oz but the 0-3 months are big on him

DD was a big girl and at 4 weeks we were out of NB. Probably should have been out a bit sooner, some stuff was a bit tight.

I think 6-8 weeks! Probably could had stayed in them a couple more weeks but we barely had any and we had a ton of 0-3m stuff so we wanted to move up!
@LovelyPlum: my LO was the same birth weight as yours and was back to that weight I think around the same timeline!

M just graduated out at one month. He had a crazy growth spurt that got him out of nb clothes. I hope he slows down a bit lol. He was 7 lbs 4 oz at birth and now is almost 9 lbs.

She was a big girl!

7 weeks. She started out on the small side but is so chubby now!

3, maybe 4 weeks. She was 8.4 at birth. But she outgrew the length first.

Around 5 weeks he grew out of his newborn sleepers lengthwise so I shifted him to 0-3. He was in that until 4 months when again he got a little long for stuff so I moved him up to 3-6. At 5.5 months he's still in 3-6 and I think it'll be a while. He's kinda skinny and with moving into short sleeves and shorts season we won't need to worry about pants or sleeves getting too short on him.

7-8 weeks? She too had room in some still but we just went ahead and moved her once a few items got too tight (mostly by length!)

W wore them for 8 weeks. M couldn't even fit into NB when she was born... they wouldn't fit around her neck! She was born wearing 3 months... lol.

3 weeks, I think. I was so sad when she outgrew them but we didn't have many so she was wearing the same three outfits over and over again anyway!

My son lasted maye two weeks? He was 8lb8oz at birth though. At 4 weeks he is nearly 12 lbs and is close to growing out of 0-3. He's also pretty long, which has him growing out of his sleepers pretty quickly.

DD skipped nb sizes. She was big and long at birth. She was in 6-12 months at ten weeks.

DD was born 5 lbs 11 oz, so she still fit NB sizes (was really just starting to fit them, really) around 3 -4 months. I was so bored with our options at that point though that I starting rotating in 0-3 onesies for variety.

ODD: 4 weeks, YDD: 2 weeks.

DS is in 6 mo clothes now bc he is so long!! We moved to 3 mo around 4-6 weeks!

It's crazy to hear about all the different babies and sizes and how quick they grew out of of nb. N was 7lbs 13oz and 20in and at his last appt three weeks ago at his 2 month check up he was 10lbs 11oz and 22 1/4 in long so how is he still in nb

I think L could still fit in newborn onesies (he's 7 weeks and about 11.5 pounds now and was 21.75 inches at his 1 month) but his footed stuff was way too short around a month so we just moved him up in 0-3 stuff. We did have a little while between sizes where a lot of newborn stuff was too short but 0-3 was a little too long and he would get his feet stuck funny.
Old Navy stuff was the first 0-3 stuff to fit him well during the transition, so if you have any definitely try those first!

a few weeks at most. LO grew fast in the beginning before it slowed down. He is almost 18 months now though and still fits into 6-12 month clothes, go figure!

We were in NB for at least a month, and a few outfits fit until about 3 months.

@Honeygold89: I think our boys were born the same day...Baby D was in newborn for a week or two and 0-3 mos. until recently. I just started putting him in 6 mos! And some of the 6 month stuff is a little short - either he is really long (he was 24 inches a couple weeks ago) or my dryer really shrinks stuff!

@Honeygold89: My daughter wore NB for about a month. Typically, I let her wear clothes until they don't fit anymore. For example, she wore 18 month PJs until she turned 2 years.

Born 7lbs 10oz and I think she was in NB max a month. They got too short for her!

At one month I finally told myself to stop squeezing T into his cute newborn onesies. He still fits in to newborn pants at 10 weeks. He's skinny though!

Awhile... probably 4-5 weeks? He was 7 lbs 9 oz at birth, but had some weight gain issues in the beginning.
ETA: Newborn pants fit him for 2+ months though! Pants were huge on him! He had little chicken legs.

CJ is a long skinny baby so at 10 weeks he's been in 0-3 onesies for about 4 weeks but is still in newborn pants because of his teeny tiny waist and bum!

R was in nb for about a month. and now at 14 weeks just switched her over to 3-6 mth- this girl has some long limbs! M was in NB for at least 6 weeks.
She was a big girl!
