Ooo, following! DS2 will be almost 2 months, so I love the idea of a bunting type costume.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: Oh my goodness that fox one is killing me! So cute, I wonder if I could make one??? I can crochet decently...

@cyndistar3: I bet you could! The hat would probably be the toughest part - the body is just like a giant sock lol.

My daughter was 1,5 months old her first halloween - and we just dyed a long sleeve onesie orange and drew a pumpkin face on it with a fabric marker. Old Navy usually sells really cute pumpkin hats too! It was super easy and cheap.

@cyndistar3: We got one from Pottery Barn Kids, they have 0-6 month costumes. DS was a tiny goldfish (he was like 10 days old).

@Beehive: it didn't swallow him? That is my fear with the 0-6 month ones that they will be way too big for a wee baby.

@cyndistar3: It was definitely big, but that was part of what was so adorable about it.

I've been searching for a newborn sized Piglet costume, and I can't find one anywhere!! My son loves Pooh, and I thought it would be adorable to dress up the newborn like piglet. No luck so far... So if anyone has seen any Winnie the Pooh character costumes in newborn sizes, please let me know!!

I wound up buying a ladybug sleep sack that comes with a cute little hat with antennae by baby aspen. They have some other cute options, an owl sleep sack, and then a handful of more outfit like one, a doctor, pilot, ballerina etc.
