I've seen all of the movies that were books ( The Notebook, Dear John, A walk to remember) and I've just started reading his books- right now I'm reading Dear John. What's your favorite Nicholas Sparks book?

Ha, I'm just like you. I actually started Deae John in the beginning of my pregnancy, so I really need to finish it already. I really can't pick a favorite, but I always like the books better than the movies. I really dislike when they change stuff like they did in the ending of The Notebook.

I think my favorite book by Nicholas Sparks was "The Choice." It was such a sweet story. I read it a few years ago but it's one of those books that I could read over and over again.
I read "The Last Song" a few months ago. It was a great read but it was really sad too. I cried like a baby but that happens when I read a lot of his books.

My favorite is The Wedding, but I also loved Safe Haven because its set in my hometown.

The only Nicholas Sparks book I have ever read is "The Smoke Jumper." For some reason, my mom gave it to me in college. Maybe because I was living in Montana and the book is set in Montana?

The Notebook was probably my favorite book. Nights in Rodanthe (also a movie) was also a good one.
Message in a Bottle was one of the first books and movies, that's a good one too.

@sweet t- same here. he should sell a box of tissues to go along with his books/movies.
I just started reading the latest one he wrote (sorry can't remember the title) this week. I didn't like his last book...I'm afraid he is running out of creative stories...

I have read every Nicholas Sparks book and I own them all. I've seen all the movies, too.
I actually just read the lastest one, Best of Me, and I was a little disappointed. It felt too much like the Notebook.
My favorite would be 'The choice'. I think.

@bluestriped bee: Do you think it's necessary to read 'True Believer" before reading "At First Sight?" I don't have the first one but I do have the second. I was going to start reading it but then read that it plays off of the characters from 'True Believer.' What are your thoughts? TIA!

@Sweet T: I do remember them mentioning the characters from the other book but I don't think it's a big part. I'll check when I get home.
