Is there a reason you are doing a bottle and then pumping rather than just nursing her? I know it's still early for you and actually nursing will be more effective in establishing a good supply than pumping. Plus it should definitely cut down on the time you are awake.

I'm awake for an hour every feeding too. 30 minutes of nursing then 30 minutes of keeping her upright to fight her reflux. Hubs usually changes her dipe for me before she eats. It sucks but we are down to one wake up most nights and only two on a bad night.

I take her out of her sleep sack, sleepily stick one boob in her mouth, feed her about 15 mins on that side. Then do diaper change to wake her up, bc she is guaranteed to fall asleep before she eats enough, then feed her 15 mins other side or until she's totally passed out again. Then I put her back in her sleep sack, put her back in her crib, and sleepwalk back to bed withDH!

I take Lo out of his swaddle, nurse one side for 10 min or so, change diaper, re swaddle, nurse other side for 5-10 min. Then back to bed! Takes about a half hour all together.

@MaisyMay: I change her diaper first (although this sometimes backfires - literally, lol - at me because the motion of me picking her up out of bed can sometimes cause her to poop and often mid-change. Feed, keep her upright for 30 mins then back to bed. I try keep her swaddled throughout as reswaddling after feeding will wake herup.

DH gets DS and changes his diaper. Then we re-swaddle with arms out (we use the velcro swaddleme). I nurse him in bed in side lying position. He passes out while nursing. DH swaddled his arms in and then back to bed. Takes about 25-30 minutes.
