DD is 13 months old old and we co-sleep. It didn't start out that way (she use to STTN in her crib), but then the 9 month regression hit and it was never the same. She can put herself to sleep in her crib easily at 7pm but she almost always wakes up in the middle of the night TWICE. The first night waking is simply because she wants to sleep in bed with us (her crib is in our room), so we take her and put her in between us and she falls asleep again right away. The second night waking is usually around 4-5am and she would fuss until I nurse her. She usually nurses for about five minutes and goes back right to sleep until 7am. This is her ONLY nursing session ever since we started giving her cow's milk at 12 months, so I don't even know if she is getting any milk. It could be just for comfort since she is eating and drinking plenty during the day. I really want to be done with this middle of the night nursing but I don't know how. Since we co-sleep, I can't have her cry it out. For those who co-sleep, how do you soothe your LO during night wakings? And also, do they ever STTN when co-sleeping?
