Damn, this would have been perfect for me to join in on because this is our first week trying freezer bag crock pot meals!!! Between those and sandwiches for lunch, I could have not spent a single dime all week!!!! But we did have a Dunkin breakfast morning. Could have easily brought frozen breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee from home!!!

Oh and I should also add, I desperately need an eye exam and new glasses. So I totally made myself feel like I was shopping by ordering 5 pairs of Warby Parkers through their try-on program... which is FREE. So I get some new glasses next week to try on for a future necessary purchase but I totally satisfied myself this week by doing something that felt like a purchase, but wasn't.

@regberadaisy: I had to use my freebie for lunch the other day, but I think I did pretty good otherwise! I went grocery shopping today, but I stuck to my list and didn't get any treats.
I even went to Sephora and didn't buy anything-just picked up my free birthday gift!

I could have gotten through without using it; I had planned to use it for a coffee when I drove to VT with my sister to visit my grandparents, but my sister bought me a a coffee for driving. However, we went to this awesome little country store and I picked up some pumpkin maple butter as a treat for SO. But, then my grandfather slipped me a $20 when I was leaving soooo technically I came out ahead!

I spent money over the weekend but nothing crazy and I had some spending money from everything I saved last week, not eating out, etc. this challenge also inspired me to sell items I don't need. I got rid of a stroller & other items DS has outgrown. -
@regberadaisy: I think I could do every other week as a no spending challenge. Hmm idk we have so many parties/gatherings coming up it will be impossible for me not to spend for those things without looking like I'm cheap and trying to get out of things lol.

@regberadaisy: yay! I am totally going to try joining every week. I do a pretty good job of it already (I bring my lunch every day and eat breakfast at home) but this will help keep my ice cream addiction in line!
