DS has started doing something that cracks me up - he hums or sings the entire time he's nursing! He just turned 3 months old, and started this in the last few weeks when he really started babbling.

Now that LO is mobile she likes to nurse in all sorts of crazy positions. And she likes to do drive by nursing. She's all
"Oh mom, I'm not REALLY hungry but let me just get a quick swig of milk on my way to the other side of the room. No mom, I don't want to cuddle and I don't want one boob. I want both boobs out so I can switch back and forth while I crawl all over you and then move on to playing. Kthanksbye." -
When he is really fussy or really tired he sort of moans when nursing. It's hilarious!

E (~13 months) is not satisfied unless he has both breasts available to him at the same time. He'll go back and forth between them. And he does a lot of drive-by nursing...he'll run up, want to yank my shirt down, nurse on each side for a few seconds and then run off again.
I'm feeling very used.

Miss A is almost eleven months and can clap while nursing, she hums and she likes to hook her toes on the straps of my nursing bra and tank.

He likes to squeeze my boob. It is like he is pumping the milk out while he is drinking.

J tries to stick her thumb in there at the same time or she pops off and chats and smacks her lips and then gets back on with a big ol' smile on her face....she's also working really hard at sticking her foot in my tank or holds on to a foot while kicking her legs up and down.

C's still pretty little, but when she is done she'll pull her head back with that sleepy milk drunk satisfied look on her face, and fling her hand over my nipple, like she is saying, "Oh please, I couldn't have another sip!". Or like she is offering me some modesty.
This is much cuter than when she is really hungry but before I get her latched on when she pinches my nipples.

I get a full dental exam or my nose picked while 14-mo-old nurses these days. Super "fun." I also sometimes get kicked in the face. That's also fun.

My baby starts panting when she sees the boob. Like, super obviously. And she claws me the whole time she nurses, with her razor-sharp claws.

Yep, my DD loves to "talk" while she eats

She just grabs her hair, like so hard I think she is going to have a bald spot. Then if she hears DH talking she pops off looks at him smiles and goes back on, and repeat.

@mamimami: LOL this is my baby too! His eyes get all big, he smiles and pants!! It is hilarious, at least while not in public...and those claws. Owie!!

My LO will try to sing her ABCs and talk while nursing. She also claps, I guess it's really exciting for her to still be getting milk from the source

@Smurfette: I swear if M hears hubs talking she pops off and gives him this smirk like I swear she is taunting him! "Haha dad, I got dibs on mom's boob and you can't have it"

@Smurfette: C just started to recognize DH's voice and he pops off and smiles too! Sometimes he will try to look around the room for him so I have DH come say hi so C will get back to business
