My 6 year old daughter refuses to wear dresses. She is incredibly strong willed, and I don't have the energy to fight her on this. (Plus, I want her to develop her on sense of style.) However, I do want to impress upon her that there are occasions that one needs to dress up for (church, plays, holidays, etc.). But I have no idea what she should wear if it's not a dress. Do you have any ideas?

If it helps, her daily wear is athleisure--running shorts and a tee in the summer, and leggings and a tee in the winter.
