@LoveHope: crap just saw this update. I'm sorry. I have heard clomid can make you crazy! I was really mean one day in my tww, I wonder if it was related? I didn't think of it at the time bc I figured it was out of my system.
I got a blinking smiley today on CD10! Shocked, as I finished clomid on day 8. Seems too early but will trust the test. I was expecting O on Saturday but looks like Thursday is more realistic.

I just realized I will get to POAS again this month....
Cycle Day: 4
TTC Cycle #: 19
Ovulation and POAS dates: I may ovulate 11/14 or 11/15 depends on the clomid
POAS: 11/29
Baby #: 1
Your plan: I decided to do another cycle on Clomid with my OB but have already begun the process of preparing for IUI next cycle if nothing happens.
The only thing was that I got AF sunday full flow but that was it. I've been spotting since Monday. I told my OB but she is saying its normal. Should I be concerned?
My husband and I are meeting with a genetic counselor next week to go over some of the genetic testing my RE thinks we should get done before proceeding with IUI.
Lots happening.... Hope the outcome will be a positive one,

@LoveHope: ☘☘☘ I have been trying something new, maybe it'll help you?
Instead of being "ugh new cycle. 25days til I find out" I have been thinking "today I am 1week4days pregnant! Better take care of myself".
It's kinda working?

11DPO and I think I'm coming down with a cold. I have a good feeing, but that's always wrong. I generally get very anxious worrying if AF will come. I'm trying to distract myself with the world gymnastics championships last week (watching videos now), and decluttering.

@LoveHope: oh no, I'm so sorry that AF came! I've had a hard time keeping up with this thread..have you asked about doing letrozole instead? It's supposed to work the same, but doesn't thin your lining and virtually no side effects.
I saw your update about your flow...maybe POAS? it could have been implantation bleeding. Maybe not, but it might be worth double checking since some women have really high flow and are still pregnant. I don't want to get your hopes up too much, but still would check.

@NorthStar: im supposed to start the Clomid tomorrow and I'll def POAS just to be sure. How nice would that be right?!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@LibbyLou: AF due Saturday, beta is Monday. I'll probably POAS Sunday if AF doesn't come.

I spoke too soon about not having any side effects from the clomid. I've had a 3-day migraine. And ooooooh the nausea!
@AmeliaBedilia: Ahhhh, good luck!!!
@LibbyLou: Jealous, I finished on the evening of CD 8 and I'm still waiting for my positive opk (CD13). I just want to get this BD fest over with It's hard to enjoy sex when I feel like I need to vomit...

@doxielove: ughhh that's so unfortunate. My Clomid symptoms were all post ovulation. Hang in there. What day are you on?
persimmon / 1388 posts
@LoveHope: CD13...I'm probably gearing up to O within the next few days, so my body is going wack-o in preparation.
kiwi / 739 posts
@doxielove: I'm only one day behind you! I am on CD12. I've only had the "high ovulation" smiley not the ovulation one. I had to switch to digital after too many confusing ones on the normal opk. Hopefully by day 15 for you! I've O pretty consistently 7 days after last dose.

@doxielove: I O'd like two days earlier than I usually do so that was a plus!

@AmeliaBedilia: good luck! I am always rooting for you and hope you see yor BFP in the next few days.

Does anyone else freak out at any potential sign of AF? If Cervical mucus is anything but perfectly clear or white, I think it has to be AF coming and I feel so anxious for these few days.
kiwi / 739 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: yes! I'm a symptom spotter for both pregnancy and AF!
I spoke way too soon about ovulation coming earlier than expected. I am on my 4th day of "high fertility" and have yet to get the ovulation smiley. For the past four months I've had two high fertility days before O. We are EOD but if this continues I don't know if we will hit it! All my irl friends are like it shouldn't be that hard to have sex EOD. Yes, but when you are on month 15ish doing it, if does get tedious. Those fertile myrtles need to calm down. .vent over.

@LibbyLou: yes, timed intercourse is hard, especially when it's been a long process. The pressure is awful!

@LibbyLou: EOD is hard when it seems like it's been forever. I used to ED until I coudnt anymore. It was draining.

@AmeliaBedilia: Ugh, yes. I relentlessly check CM in the days preceeding AF. It's maddening. But it's a hard habit to break
@LibbyLou: In a perfect world I'd be happy with 1x/week...if even that, lol. So EOD is just EXHAUSTING for me!!

13DPO and AF is due tomorrow. I'm on high alert for the tiniest sign of anything. I think my CM might have had the tiniest brown twinge, but I'm a little crazy on this. I feel terrible but that might be my cold. My RE office called to remind me of my beta (and ultrasound if AF comes)- like I'd forget. I'm so tired of feeling terrible all the time with these meds, and so tired of getting bad news.

@AmeliaBedilia: Just popping in to say my fingers are so crossed for you. Are you POAS tomorrow?
kiwi / 739 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: been thinking of you! The month I got my positive I was doing the same thing. But I had zero symptoms except late period.
Good luck and let us know if you test early!

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm sorry. I've been following along and rooting for you!!

@AmeliaBedilia: ugh I'm so sorry I was really hoping this was it for you. Be kind to yourself this weekend.
I had another follow up scan today and there is still retained product. This is the mc that never ends. My hcg is down from 360 last week to 90 so that's promising. I just took another round of miso (round 3!) and am lying on the couch waiting for it to work its magic. I'll have another scan Monday to see if I lost any more over the weekend and if not I'm booked into a D&C next week. Such a long process and I just want to move on.

@delight: ugh. What a nightmare. I'm sorry you are going through this!!!

@sslm: thanks mama. I hope you're feeling well. I'm just having a pity party. I know one day I'll look back on this past year and know it was all for a reason.

@AmeliaBedilia: Oh I'm so sorry hun. I was really rooting for you! Please do something nice for yourself this weekend!
@delight: How frustrating! I'm so sorry. Hopefully you get to move on from this soon.

@AmeliaBedilia: I'm really sorry it's not fair!
@Delight I can't imagine what you are going through. I'm so sorry.

I have my beta tomorrow (which will be negative) and should be able to do an ultrasound to start the third IUI cycle. Ive been having more painful periods on the meds and am a little worried I have endo. I'm going to ask if I should increase the Femara from 5mg to 7.5mg. I really hate these appointments and am dreading tomorrow.
nectarine / 2192 posts
The appointment went ok. Depending on the next ultrasound in one week, we might add low dose FSH. They also probably have samples- yea! While the RE didn't say my follicle count, DH counted and it was about 20, which is a big improvement.

I probably won't get to POAS until early December but I wanted to join as a cheerleader because I've been reading every day for the last week!
Cycle Day: 5
TTC Cycle #: 23
Ovulation and POAS dates: Between 11/14 and 11/20. First cycle taking Clomid.
POAS: 12/1 or 12/2 (if I can hold out)
Baby #: 1
Your plan: First cycle with clomid, progesterone, metformin, and estradiol. I don't ovulate on my own. We've been trying on and off (either trying or NTNP) for almost two years and this is the first intervention we've done. I don't fit the classic PCOS profile - no hormonal issues, normal weight, and my cycles are all between 28-32 days, but I'm annovulatory. DH has no issues. Excited to be doing something! I'm so damn ready to have baby. Best wishes for everyone!

@mrsjd: Welcome! I'm CD4 so we are almost cycle twins. I hope clomid works for you!

@mrsjd: Hi, welcome! I'm currently in the middle of my first clomid cycle, too. Good luck!!
Finally got my + opk on Saturday, CD 16. So I O'd 10 days after my last clomid pill. Now, we wait! My FRER's are waiting I'll probably test on 11/21, if AF hasn't arrived.
