I'm seeing some ewcm too. Funny I've never paid attention to this before. Our bodies are so funny. Not sure if I'm up for BD though. My neck has been killing me and I got an injection there today.

@MrsB2012: rats. I was hoping this would be a lucky month for you. sorry, lady
@silva: just curious--what does gluten do when it messes with your cycle? delay or throw off O or something? sorry for the roadblock but hope it doesn't affect you too badly. your strategy sounds en pointe
@Ajsmommy:
@mrsjd: have you been reading my diary?
I can't remember if I've updated all of you on this board yet, but over here, my miscarriage started right at 6w this weekend, and is completing right now. some drama with my OB's thinking it was ectopic, which mercifully was not the case. They told me to wait another full cycle which I really don't want to do but probably will do, and that's that. what a motherfucker of a month.
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
@LCTBQE: it has both delayed and made me skip ovulation. I'm trying not to be too paranoid, but the month we conceived the pregnancy I miscarried I'd been recently triggered a couple times. And, I just put together that I used contaminated cornmeal in some pizza I made and ate Saturday night and today for lunch. So, that's great.
I'm really glad that your miscarriage went smoothly, but I'm so sorry you are there again. Honestly, if I were to miscarry again I might really push my doctors about their advice to wait a full cycle. It's a really personal choice, obviously.

@LCTBQE: while it's a super shite end to the month, I'm so relieved it's all coming to an end (& that it's not an ectopic). Has it been painful? Hope you get some way to treat yourself this month while you wait it out. Def recommend a night out with non-ttc pals, takes your mind off things! Hugs
@Silva: ugh, sorry to hear about the gluten. I know it can really affect the system sometimes so hoping it isn't that way for you.
@marley: I hate it when it's time to BD and it's not happening! Hope your neck gets better!
Good luck to all the ladies O'ing or POASing soon!

@LCTBQE: Lol thanks! we have bd the last two nights and 4 nights ago too, taking a break tonight but we will again tomorrow night. I have a doctors appointment friday, but would love for it to be 'unnecessary'. I hope this is our month!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Silva: that sounds unnerving. I hope your exposure wasn't that bad or that your body handles it well this time. I have an in-law relative who is like you, she can't eat anything that has even been on the same cutting board as flour, and I admire the strength and energy it must take to manage it (not to mention dealing with all the uninformed haters who think gluten-free is just some LA trend).
I'm going to call my doctor back and ask her about waiting. I don't know if she thinks my body can't properly support another pregnancy, or if she just doesn't want to deal with uncertainty with dating and levels. I really want to try but don't want to feel like a criminal if I do.
@marley: thanks, lady hope you feel a little more up to things in the next day or two. PS--a shot in your neck?!
@Nutella: you have been so sweet to me, thank you for the support. I just saw your nice post on my wall (which I've never looked at before today!). I'm also relieved to my core that it happened naturally and wasn't ectopic--the chemo injection sounds awful, not to mention how worried I would have been about future pregnancies. I took a day off work, went to lunch with girlfriends, baked cookies, and generally was totally lazy
are you using OPK's this month? time is slipping by so quickly, are you approaching O again?
PS guys, where did @simplyfelicity go? she wrote something really kind to me, and now it looks like her account is closed?

@WinterBee: thanks I'll be okay.
your timing sounds promising (and in the best possible way, exhausting!) I'm crossing my fingers for you

@LCTBQE: of course girl! Was just so bummed for you. But sounds like you're going to get your sticky bfp soon. That day sounds super fun! I've been doing a lot of baking (& then giving away) - people love a good home baked treat as it turns out!
That's so strange about simplyfelicity - she was so lovely and active on here too? Hope she comes back!! Let us know if you find out!

@mrsjd: ugh, I know what you mean! It's hard
@LCTBQE: I'm so sorry I'm glad it wasn't ectopic though, take care of yourself.

@mrsjd: that sucks! Sorry I think we all go through some moments of that when actively TTC!

@LCTBQE: lol DH did not let me off the hook. yes, shot in the back of the neck--in my spine, actually. I had to do it today before ovulation because of the fluoroscopy.

So the month is over halfway over, but is it ok if I join in for this month?
Cycle Day: 10
TTC Cycle #: 5 (really 6th, but we had to take last month off as I had miscarried the month prior)
Ovulation & POAS date: should ovulate sometime this week, and will POAS at the end of the month (11/30 for not, but I will update depending on my O date)
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: All sorts of things... I'm taking vitex and Licorice root to help ovulate earlier in my cycle, clearblue digital OPKs as well as confirming with wondfo OPKs, dtd as we feel like it, but will try out the SMEP if it doesn't pan out this month. Also debating using softcups?
For Fun: What are you thankful for this year? I'm thankful for my son! He just turned 1 and is the absolute best little human I have ever known.

@missybear: welcome!
@LCTBQE: Hugs. Im so glad it wasn't ectopic and I hope you can try again soon.
Not sure what happened to simplyfelicity either. I remember seeing her name on the boards quite often.
Sorry to hear AF showed for a few ladies, health issues and insensitive pregnancy announcements. This trying for a baby business is definitely taxing on emotions.
Good luck to everyone still waiting to O and those in the TWW!

@WinterBee: I had an appointment with my obgyn the month I got pregnant. It was a couple days after I o'd and I was pregnant and didn't even know it! Hopefully the same thing happens for you!!

Woke up to another day of higher than normal temps and felt a little hungover/off even though I didn't have anything to drink last night. I knew even with the missing data that I was somewhere between 10-14 dpo so I figured it couldn't hurt to test...
Squinter on a generic e.p.t and then a very obvious positive on a frer
I whipped up a silly GOT themed shirt for my 16mo to surprise DH with when he got home from work. It was awesome.

@thismustbetheplace: Yay! Congrats! Love the difference between the two tests haha. FRER's are so worth it when you see the difference.

@thismustbetheplace: YAY! Best news. And it's amazing how much darker the FRER is!
