@Bibliolove: how are you doing lady?! We haven't heard from you really since roll call!

@mrschickpea: I think I'm going to be testing on the 30th instead.
Hoping my temp goes up tomorrow, in which case we'd have gotten 0-1 and 0-3.

@marley: Hmm...I used the advanced opk last few months & I have to say I think they are a bit hard to decipher but your temping is def showing the 3/6 rule so I would prob go with that. Timing is still good though!

@mrschickpea: oh hi! I seem to have ovulated later this month (14 or 15 CD) and AF is due today or tomorrow. Cramping this morning tells me I'm out though
though it's not over til it's over!
We had such good timing this month, too. Sigh.
Hope everyone is getting excited for the holidays! I'm going to start temping for next month.

@marley: I think it looks pretty good. You'll probably get a better visual in a few days with your temps. Your timing isn't too bad either! Fingers crossed for you!

@Bibliolove: I'm sorry We've had a few months here and there with good timing (or decent) and it's a bummer when AF shows. This month has been our best timing yet, so we're being hopeful
clementine / 928 posts
@wheres_c: ooo, may be a good sign! Though not for me, I've had sore boobs almost every month around 4 DPO that usually goes away before AF and never had a BFP No symptoms at all for me yet
pear / 1852 posts
Congrats to the ladies with BFPs, and sorry to the ladies waiting another cycle like me.
I've been MIA from the boards most of this week. It's been a busy week at work with report cards and parent teacher meetings.
I've been temping with a regular digital themeometer this cycle to use with my Ovia app, and it looks like I Ovualated a few days earlier than expected while my husband was home last, which means we managed to DTD twice in the right window instead of just once, so my odds are better. If we didn't manage to get knocked up this cycle, I'm thinking I'll invest in a BBT so I"ll have a more precise reading of my morning temps.
Fingers crossed and Baby dust to all!

This may be TMI but I just wiped and there was some blood mixed with cervical mucus...
I'm not sure what this means as it's still early for AF. I may be out
pear / 1852 posts
@wheres_c: actually that sounds like the spotting I had a few days before I got my bfp for my dd!
pomelo / 5789 posts
@Mrs. D: @marley: you guys! Don't get me excited.....
I started temping this week too - it jumped today after 4 days of 98.1 to 98.9 so not sure if that is promising or if I'm getting sick.
clementine / 928 posts
Light cramping early this morning for me and now I'm back to no symptoms tonight I'm so proud of myself for finally not micromanaging symptoms this month!
nectarine / 2466 posts
@wheres_c: that's very very promising! If that was AF spotting, your temp would tank.
@mrschickpea: fingers still crossed for you!
pomelo / 5789 posts
@mrschickpea: hahaha! I'm not doing a good job of micromanaging but maybe not stressing out is a good thing!
I have my fingers crossed this is the month for us both!!!

Big sigh, you guys. My chart is super confusing. Anyone care to weigh in? I had a definite positive opk on Thursday, and my fertile cm dried up Friday morning, so I assumed I got the end of my LH surge on the test, and ovulated Thursday night/Friday morning. I figured that random high temp on Thursday morning was an error, I often wake up in the middle of the night, it's hard to get a temp at exactly the same time every day (toddler life).
I had a random patch of EWCM this morning. I immediately took an opk which was negative. I will take another one this afternoon to check.
I know you can get EWCM after ovulation, something about a surge in estrogen, but I read that is typically a week after ovulation, and I've never noticed it before. Since that one spot it's been creamy.

@mrschickpea: i tested this morning and bfn. I ovulated later this month though so I'm not expecting AF until Tuesday. I'm 12 dpo today. I don't know how good my chances are though.
Our timing was so perfect this month so I'm pretty bummed out.
nectarine / 2466 posts
@Silva: I feel you with having a hard time getting a good time for temps. I have a 10 month old and a 2 year old, so my temps are pretty erratic as well. I wonder if in a few days, if fF will move your o date up a day. I had a similar looking chart last month and fF moved my o date up 2 days. I always find charts super confusing the first few days after crosshairs. Once you get a few more days of temps if might look a little clearer though.
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
@AprilFool: if i just discard it, it still puts ovulation on day 14. if I sub in another low temp (the same as the day before), it puts o on day 15, which I guess I can buy, although thats the same day i got the postive opk. but it could have been the very tail end of the LH surge (at 12:30pm), and then ovulated at like midnight?
who knows. i guess i'm trying to make an exact science out of a lot of methods that have their own possible errors.
we did the best we could, regardless, and i'm sure the random ewcm this morning was just that- random. if i see anymore we will be sure to try again.

@Silva: I definitely think you have O'd looking at your chart so it must just be random.

@Silva: I think you O'ed when it said you did. Sometimes CM is just...weird...and doesn't follow the typical pattern. I think your timing looks really good!
@Shizaz: I hope it's just too early to test!
As for me, super sore boobs over here. Hoping it's a sign but who knows. I had them with my first but not with my second so I think sometimes symptom spotting is just that.
We'll see, though!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Silva: agree with @coopsmama, your jump on CD15 looks too high to mean anything else (right?). your timing is great either way, though
@marley: I am rooting for you this month! timing also sounds perfect, lady.
@coopsmama: also saw your other post--hope your relatives go back to their own home soon. maybe they can buy some candles or a hotel room or something

@LCTBQE: thanks! FF only gave me "good" timing. Last month was "high." But it takes just one, I guess! I'm not hopeful though. My DH had a minor procedure a couple months ago and he took like 10 hot baths. He's probably been shooting blanks.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@marley: about the timing, I'm still hopeful for you!
about the blanks: my husband is an athlete and did a couple of post-game saunas this summer/fall--one of them was the day before we conceived the first time. I asked my OB about it (possible connection with my m/c's, his future fertility) and she acknowledged there has been "some minor correlation" with sperm count, but on the whole she was like, this is not a factor, past or future, even if he does a sauna again, don't worry about it. so hopefully that stuff is mostly old wives tales and your DH is as fertile as the euphrates valley
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@LCTBQE: Thank all that's good that they are back to their own home tonight!! That was 5 days with them and I much prefer them on an hourly basis.
@BandDmommy: Hahaha. It's still too early for that, I'll have to ask DH in a day or two. I quite honestly think the odds are super low this cycle what with everything over the last week we've had going on. That's okay though.
kiwi / 706 posts
@LCTBQE: you're so funny! I hope you're right!
I've been experiencing a weird symptom: phantom smells - specifically, smoke. I smelled this when I was pregnant with my first. Either it's a symptom or I have a brain tumor.
clementine / 854 posts
@coopsmama: good luck to you! The two last two months I was pretty good and didnt symptom spot. This month I've been going crazy. Like right now, I feel nauseous. Kinda like car sick. But i doubt it means anything. I will test on Wednesday again of AF doesn't show. I know she's late Wednesday for sure. I hope your symptoms mean something though!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@coopsmama: you are a SAINT. I would have been clutching a butcher's knife after like two hours of that.
@marley: in that case, FX for the former
