Anyone stop preventing before your cycle regulated postpartum? When did your period eventually show up or when did you get pregnant? Just curious about what others have experienced.
My first is 6 months, no sign of a period yet, and we are no longer preventing. We're in no rush, but are ready when it does eventually happen. It took 6 months, plus a miscarriage, to conceive my daughter.

I only went on BC for 1 month after LO1 was born - I really hated the minipill. My period came back a few weeks after I quit pumping and I had 5 irregular periods before I got a BFP (1 week after LO1 weaned.)
BTW - It took 3 years and 5 IUI + Clomid cycles to get and stay pregnant with LO1, so I don't think there is a strong correlation with previous pregnancies.

I quit pumping when DS was 11 months old and weaned him from nursing at 12 months. We were NTNP from that point onward. My period returned the following month, but it wasn't regular. We got a BFP 7 months later, but it resulted in a MC. Had a D&C and tried 2 months later, and got a BFP then. Expecting her in 6 days!!

We started NP around 6 months too! My AF came back around 7/8 months became regular as she weaned around 10/11 months
I got a BFP when she was just shy of 14 months
