I nursed in public without a cover today! I had a shirt over a nursing tank and there wasn't really anyone around, but still, Im pretty proud of myself! It's in the 90's here and super humid so I've been wanting to ditch the cover, but was so nervous!

Whoop whoop!!! What a great way to start World Breastfeeding Week!
Last night I nursed P right in the middle of service!!! It was communion so when I got called to get her from nursery I really didn't want to miss things going to the moms room.... I wore her in my ring sling, worshiped God right where I stood, and when she started to almost fuss I nursed her! ftw

Woo-hoo! Yesterday I went out with a friend for a drink and F decided he was STARVING. I hadn't brought a cover, so nurse it was. I also survived my first legit bite with teeth during that session! Double points for no yelling

@MrsRoo: Well it's been 15mths! And I just really really didn't want to miss communion (I've missed 99% of services we've attended over the last year due to needing to nurse P), not to mention one of the recent NIP blog post that was shared definitely helped!

Most recently I breastfed in front of a bunch of DH's relatives. Not a huge deal but I think some of them were a little surprised. I was just sick of having to leave the room and miss conversations ... plus the best chair for nursing was in the room they were all in.

@cmomma17: Yes! We just spent the evening at my MIL this past week & when we got home I talked to DH about how I was tired of having to excuse myself (hello we're fixing to have another lo I'll be nursing too.... that's like 3, 4, or 5 years of constantly having to excuse myself)... He said he'd support me nursing wherever I feel comfortable. We'll see how it goes next time we're over!

@sslm: LO has started losing her sh*t under the cover recently. I'm pretty sure I was less exposed today than I have been with the cover in weeks
@cmomma17: Yay! I hate having to leave rooms, too. Especially because when we are usually out is LO's fussy, "I want to cluster feed every hour on the hour" time of day.
@runsyellowlites: What a great husband you have. My DH will support me nursing wherever we are as long as I have a cover. I'm working on showing him that I can BF without a cover and still be covered. We'll see how that works out, lol.
