In the past, i would nurse LO in my room after getting her ready for bed. Then i would bring her to her room, sing and rock her and then put her to sleep awake.

Last week, i started nursing her in room in the dark because i found that she was less distracted and would get sleepy quickly. In fact, i continued this for a couple of days because she would be out like a light by the time i put her down in the crib. Sometimes she'd open her eyes but would go back to sleep.

Ugh, the last couple of nights it has completely backfired! I'd nurse her, she'd *almost* fall asleep and as soon as i put her down in the crib she's wide awake and starts bawling!! Today she cried for about 45 minutes. Ughhhhh!

Did i start a bad habit? Can this be reversed?
