Do you use one? If so, what does it look like? LO has been a distracted nurser lately, but tonight I'm wearing an infinity scarf and I feel like he's concentrating better with it. He keeps grabbing it and tugging it/holding it up in the air while he eats (So cute!). I'm thinking a nursing necklace might be a good idea.

@Pepper: I used a nursing necklace with my DS. It was pretty helpful but I had a hard time remembering to use it! I'm actually selling it in the classifieds, so you can take a look. I know there are lots of choices on etsy these days as well.

We didn't use a nursing necklace, but I did introduce a lovey around the time he started to be distracted--he liked to wring it in his hands and put it over his face while he nursed. Just another option!

I use one, and it helped sometimes. Mine is actually a wooden teething necklace, so LO can also chew on it when I hold him. Mine is the same brand as this one:

He waves it around and plays with it, and it's especially great if he's tired. It also keeps him from grabbing my hair or face (or reaching in my mouth to grab my teeth, which is his current favorite thing if we forget his lovey).

I have one and it seems helpful about half the time I wear it. She likes the bra straps even more though. She does use it for chewing on when I'm just holding her sometimes.

I'm thinking a lovey might be a good choice because he seemed to really like my scarf! I would have never thought of that.
