Sounds like teething!

@Adira: Yep...DS teethed at 4 months. Keep offering and get some teething aides. Some teething tablets will comfort him to nurse, and some frozen wet washcloths are really relieving for babies sore gums. Your supply will be fine! Keep pumping, too!

@Adira: Look at his gums...probably the bottom left (your right) see if it's red. It takes about a week or so...maybe longer. I honestly don't remember how long it actually takes.

So normal at that age!! For us it wasn't teething, it was just major distraction. And I think my flow had slowed down. I would try doing breat compressions once he latches on to help keep him interested. Also, at that time I gave up on any ideas of sttn and fed him every time he woke because I wanted to get the milk into him. Also try nursing right before sleep or right when he wakes up--when they're sleepy they sometimes forget to fight:fuss while nursing. Also, using a lovey to give Lo something to hold in his hand was helpful!

My LO went on a nursing strike for a week and it was awful! She was kicking and screaming every time I tried to nurse her. She would take the bottle though so I would give her about .5 oz of breastmilk in bottle and quickly switch to my boob. That was the only way I got her to nurse and it worked every time. Nursing strike lasted for a week. I was so relieved when it was over! Hang in there! It will get back to normal.
