I am in charge of the cub scout meeting Thursday and I need to come up with an obstacle course they can do inside - problem is I cant think of anything to use at home - would prefer to not buy anything.
Any ideas???

Play tunnel, camping tent, maybe a board or jump rope for balance beam, traffic cones to weave in and out of, blocks to jump over.
You can also use masking tape for a balance line.

Adding on to that - jumping through hula hoops, jumping on one foot through a ladder, pool noodles to weave through, use twine or string to jump over/crawl under

You can also use painters tape, if you need to mark of lanes.

I have traffic cones so that's good!Hmm... no blocks but maybe I can find some wood in the garage
@raspberries: don't have a hula hoop and its winter so don't think I could find one
Oh I could tie the string to 2 chairs - love it!
@looch: yeah its in a church rectory - don't want to mess up floors and painters tape peels up easily!!

You could line up two rows of chairs and then weave yarn between the two rows to mimic those tires football players run through.
Crepe paper streamers could be used for something similar?
Broom handles to jump over or limbo under
What about walking with an egg on a spoon to kind of slow them down somewhere in the course.
Depending on how many go through at once you could have a spot where they need to find something before proceeding, like a small ring or ball in a bowl of cooked spaghetti or a sock in a baby pool of balls?
This sounds like fun!

@Mamaof2: maybe make the tent the finishing end? Or if you have 2 doors on it, they can crawl through them.
