Wow! It's only October 4 and already a few BFPs. Congrats! I got two of my BFPs in October ️

I hadn't joined this month because I was feeling very down about the whole process but I got a bfp today at 12dpo! I took a test 2 days ago but it was faulty and didn't show the control line or anything
nectarine / 2400 posts
I took a new frer - the curved ones and it took a few minutes for both the control line and the test line to show up. Is that normal? On all the other tests I've took the control line shows up immediately
kiwi / 706 posts
@gotkimchi: congrats! sorry you were feeling down. The FRERs I used (the curved ones) all took a minute for the pink control line to show up. But I've only tested twice.

@gotkimchi: congrats!!! Post a pic of your FRER!
I haven't used the old FRER but I did notice it takes a while for it to do anything. I think about a minute? Definitely not as quick as those ICs.

Ok, so it's been about 2 years since I used OPKs, would you say this is positive or maybe not quite as dark as test line still?

Wow I am gone for just a few days and so many BPFs!! Congrats @starlitsky, @MrsDragon, @Purpledaisy, and @gotkimchi! What great news only a few days into October. Seems like a lucky month so far!
My O date is probably between tomorrow and Wednesday but DH and I have been DTD every night the past three nights just in case I O'd early. Based on CM, I don't think I have. But honestly, I don't think we can do it tomorrow! We may just need a night off even though it's probably the WORST time to take a day off. Bees, tell me it'll be fine anyway?! We'll try to do it Tuesday too.

@Mrs. Peanut: It will absolutely be fine! Take a night off, sounds exhausting lol

Wow!! I was gone for the weekend and I come back to some serious good news!! yay for all the BFP"s soooo happy for you all!!!! how awesome October is turning out to be!
As for myself, I am not that hopeful. I have been having spotting yesterday afternoon and this morning. So I am thinking I am out and AF is arriving early (again!!!) ughhh
If it is AF then my last few cycles have only been 22 days and i'll be talking to my dr next week at my yearly check up to see if there is anything I can do to help us conceive.

Going to pop in and join you ladies this month. I don't think our chances are great but there's always hope!
Cycle Day: 21
TTC Cycle #: 1 (NTNP previously)
Ovulation and POAS dates: somewhere around CD 15-19?, POAS 10/19. My cycles are still wonky 15 months pp.
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: Not stress about the outcome? Haha. Really though, what's done is done by this point. If the timing wasn't right then we'll move on to the next cycle. I only relied on CM tracking this month, next month I will add temping back into the mix.
For Fun: What are you being for Halloween? I'm not sure yet, but my LO is the most adorable cuddly blue monster I've ever seen.
@runnerd: do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight also, PM'ing you!

Our doctor's appointment was cancelled this morning, hah! No blood test for me. The doctor I want to see doesn't have his schedule in yet so I have to wait to call again next week. So much waiting, so much anxiety.

@MrsDragon: awww I'm sorry! Waiting is the worst. I can't believe you have to wait until next week!
nectarine / 2973 posts
@photojane: I ended up getting the same big sister shirt that you got haha It's too cute! I hope you get to put yours to use very soon

Wow, congrats to the positives!!!!
My CBEFM peaked over the weekend and is back down to low today, so just waiting for my temps to confirm O date and I'll pick a POAS date. I think we did pretty well with timing.

@MrsDragon: boooo! Hopefully it'll be early next week!
@Purpledaisy: it's so cute! How did DH react? I love those stories.
@JoJoGirl: fingers crossed for you!!

Hey all! I've been gone for a while since my blighted ovum with D&C back in August. We are back at it this month! I haven't been in a good place emotionally (it was our 3rd loss), but on Friday I decided I needed to work on contentment and be happy with what I have (an amazing 2 year old son) and not worry about what I have lost. Lo and behold, the next day (Saturday) I ovulate for my first time since the D&C! Which happened to be perfect timing since my husband works out of town Mon-Thurs, so we only have Thurs nights through Sun nights to DTD.
Cycle Day: 14
TTC Cycle #: I'm not even sure how to answer this any more! We had 2 months NTNP, 2 months trying resulting in a blighted ovum, and have been waiting 2 months now for my cycle to happen again and for me to ovulate. I guess that would make it my 3rd actual cycle of trying, but we have been trying since May- which is 5 months ago. Ugh
Ovulation and POAS dates: O day 10/3, POAS I usually test around 9 DPO and have consistently received my positives on 9-11 DPO. So, I'll probably test on 10/12 (9DPO)
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: be happy with what I already have, have a positive outlook for the future, and not dwell on my past losses. Oh, and my doctor had me start baby ASA in spite of the fact that my clotting disorder testing was all negative. I'm also taking a BComplex multivitamin now too.
For Fun: What are you being for Halloween? Me- no idea, nothing? My son- maybe a garden gnome?
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Dr. Pepper: So sorry to hear about another loss Here with you this month, same stats

Congrats ladies!! @gotkimchi: @MrsDragon: @Purpledaisy:
@Ajsmommy: Hopefully it's implantation bleeding? I know how frustrating irregular cycles can be. Maybe your doctor will have some advice.
@JoJoGirl: Did your CBEFM ever go low straight to peak? Mine did the other month, but the month before that I had a few high day before peak. My monitor still says Low this month (CD 16) so I don't know if I'm headed for a long cycle or if it will go Low to Peak again.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@tiramisu: This is only my second month using it (got pregnant first shot last time I used it). This time it went low, 3 days of high, then 2 days of peak, 1 day of high again and back to low. Last time I think I had 4 days of high before peak. I have read of that happening, though!

To the BFP ladies, did you have any telling symptoms at all before you got positive tests? Just wondering if feeling zero symptoms is a sign haha.
nectarine / 2400 posts
@Nutella: I felt nothing! No cramps or anything which I had a lot of with my first. Today my breasts are a little sore and I'm feeling under the weather but that could be unrelated
persimmon / 1071 posts
My boobs have been really sore the last few days, but they were like that 2 months ago too, and nothing. I'm not feeling good about my chances this month. Life happened and we haven't BD at all in a week! So I'm out if I Oed late. Bleh...
apricot / 409 posts
@WinterBee: Fingers crossed for you! Hope you Oed on time. My cycles are different every month and it's quite frustrating. We never seem to get our timing right.
@JoJoGirl: Glad to hear the CBEFM worked for you last time. Good luck this cycle!
persimmon / 1071 posts
@tiramisu: Thanks! I agree, it is super frustrating! Next month I plan on using OPKs so I can try to figure some things out.
