@Nutella: I started having cramping the day that I got a positive test. I know that I've heard a lot of people say they don't have any symptoms until 6+ weeks.

@Nutella: a few days before I got my bfp I had a dull backache. I'd been experiencing intermittent mild cramping/bloating but nothing too severe. Some twinges in the breasts and sensitive nipples. I also woke up sweating a couple of times. The day before my bfp I felt dizzy and lightheaded which is unusual for me. Since then I haven't really had any symptoms! I keep waiting for the nausea lol.

@WinterBee: Yes, though. I'm CD28 and I would guess around 12-14dpo. AF is rarely this late so I'm just in limbo

Tested this morning with a frer- ! Probably too early, but I couldn't wait anymore!

My cervix is very low and hard, so I don't know what that means. Or, if it means anything. It's always up nice and high (almost too high to reach) all cycle, even on my period. I've never felt it this low, so I hope everything's ok in there! Anyone have any experience?

  7. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@photojane: What dpo are you? My cervix is usually low and hard right before AF starts. Though it does change depending on how full my bowels/bladder are!

  8. photojane

    cantaloupe / 6164 posts

@illumina: AF shouldn't be here until either Sunday or Monday (could be later, my cycles are all over the place), so I don't think it's that. Maybe it was my bowels..? I've never had that happen before though! I've never been able to reach it so easily, so it freaked me out.

Got my crosshairs, woot! my CBEFM. I'm 3dpo today so will probably test 10/13?

We timed it perfectly, I think! O-4, O-2, O morning.

@photojane: what DPO are you? Super early, right?

  12. photojane

    cantaloupe / 6164 posts

@BandDmommy: I have no idea haha! That's why this is so hard. I think I could be anywhere from 7-10dpo. My cycles have been weird since I had Sadie - different length every month.

  13. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@BandDmommy: umm, maybe Thursday? I kinda think I'm out because I def got my last bfp at 12dpo but also there's no sign of AF, so who knows!

@photojane: me too, those mine have always been a little irregular before I had S. They vary from 23-28 days, but 26 or 27 days are the most common.

rooting for everyone! meanwhile I'm still waiting for my fertile week. It's more like a FOUR week wait...

  17. tiramisu

    apricot / 409 posts

@marley: Hope your fertile week comes soon!

AFM, I'm feeling pretty discouraged. So I thought I would ovulate later this week, but my CBEFM still says low. Not sure what's going on. Maybe it's a good thing cause DH just hasn't wanted to BD at all. It's so frustrating. He says he wants another baby, but being that we don't DTD alot it's unlikely that spontaneous BD will be at the right time. In past cycles Ive tried to BD when I ovulate, but I think he gets pressured out and cant. So this cycle I said let's just BD every other day. I thought it would be less pressure, but it seems like it still is, and so we haven't done it at all. At this rate, I won't even need to pee on a stick.

@tiramisu: so sorry to hear. Have you spoken to your husband re: why he won't BD? are you taking your BBT?

    @JoJoGirl: nice!! fx for you!
    @photojane: good luck !

As for me I am still having spotting... had it for 3 days but no real AF. However I am 100% sure this is the beginning of my period. Just very odd and not normal at all. I am hoping AF gets her and gets gone. Appt next thurs where i'll be asking lots of questions and seeing if there is anything we can do to aid us.

  20. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@tiramisu: We went through that. I learned to just throw all notions of keeping him in the loop on O date COMPLETELY out the window. My DH didn't respond well to pressure of any kind, and it made him shut down - to the point of also not BDing in the fertile window. Going from every day to every other day if you're still super stressed about it won't help. You have to go back to it being fun and seeming spontaneous even if YOU know it's peak day. Just make him feel like this isn't about TTC... lingerie, whatever it takes... just seriously back off a bit and try to at least pretend to feel light-hearted, and he'll probably respond better.

  21. tiramisu

    apricot / 409 posts

@marley: He says he's tired. He does work long hours and we have a toddler so I kind of understand. But I think he also doesn't respond well to pressure. No I haven't tried taking my BBT. I'm worried he'll notice me taking my temp and it'll put more TTC pressure on him.

@JoJoGirl: Thanks for sharing your experience. Yeah I shouldn't have told him let's BD every other day this week. Ugh hopefully I haven't ruined it for this cycle. He doesn't know I use the CBEFM. I hide it. I mean he knows I bought it, but thinks I got too lazy to use it after the first cycle hah. Man, TTC is hard. I don't know how we managed to have our DD. I didn't have the monitor back then and think we just got lucky with timing.

  22. mrsmacandcheese

    blogger / clementine / 985 posts

@tiramisu: We just... stopped. I stopped temping, we threw it all out the window and said we'd take a break for a month and not pressure ourselves. I was still hoping that that would lead to productive sex, and took OPKs (without sharing the results), but resigned myself to it being ok to not get pregnant that month.

This was after I suggested the BD-every-other-day thing, because that fell apart too. We got lucky, I guess, that our anniversary was around my fertile time, hah. But just taking it off the table and not insisting that it happen was enough to clear our heads. Sending you lots of love!

@tiramisu: sorry about that...I agree with others in maybe not including him on the details of your cycle, so it's easier for him to feel the passion ya know? I think it's a lot harder on the guys than sometimes they let on. Good luck

@JoJoGirl: yay for crosshairs and good timing! 🎉
@Ajsmommy: sorry about the spotting hopefully you get some answers one way or another.

@photojane: good luck for the joy of waiting!

@marley: hope fertile week lands shortly!

@tiramisu: yes, TTC is hard! I guess for some it causes some anxiety when BD becomes a baby-making chore. It's normal! I agree with everyone that perhaps you should stop talking about it that way. Best of luck!

@Nutella: @marley: Thanks ladies for the support! Good idea, I'll try to not let DH in on any info on my cycle. I think the TTC anxiety definitely gets to him.

@MrsDragon: Thank you!! I am SO happy you got your BFP this month! I was cheering for you. I remember reading the Sept. POAS boards and totally feeling in the same boat as you. So glad things worked out. Yeah, I think I need to accept that I might not get pregnant this month but it's ok.

Another for me this morning! I have one test left, so I think I'm just going to stop testing and see what happens. Part of me is not ready to be pregnant, but part of me really wants a baby & that part gets really sad when I see the !

Hi Ladies, i'm more of a lurker but thought i'd join you guys seeing as we're back on the ttc wagon after a miscarriage in August.

    Cycle Day: CD 20
TTC Cycle #: I'm going to call this cycle 1 post miscarriage but it is my second cycle this year.
Ovulation and POAS dates: I'm not 100% sure which day I ovulated, I got my clear blue smiley on CD 16 on 3 October. I've decided not to temp this time round and to try take a more relaxed approach. I'll probably POAS from the 13th.
    Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: The plan was to BD every second day leading up to O + the day of which we managed. Hoping and praying we get lucky.
For Fun: What are you being for Halloween? I'm not dressing up, but i'll be dressing my toddler up so he can help me hand out candy.

@photojane: I can relate! I felt really sad on Monday when I got my though at the same time I'm often relieved when AF shows cos I think "phew that's put off having #2 a little longer!".

AFM still no sign of AF, CD29 which is loong for me. Planning to test tomorrow again, though I kind of don't want to see another so part of me wants to just wait it out.

@WinterBee: How are things going? Are you POAS soon? Fingers crossed for you!!
I think I need to move my POAS date to TBD. My cycle is wonky and I don't think I'm near O date, not to mention the lack of BD.

@tiramisu: I POAS this morning. Stark white BFN. Pretty disappointing, but I'm hoping it's too early? Who knows, I've convinced myself we're going to need help getting pregnant. It's not going as planned and my cycles are soooo weird lately. I'm going to wait until I get AF, then make a doctors appointment, then take OPKs pretty much my entire next cycle to try to narrow O date down.

So I think I STILL haven't ovulated! I'm at cycle day 20 now. Usually I have a regular cycle between 29-32 day cycles, so I figured by now I should have O'd! Perhaps I missed it since I am just checking CM and not using any other methods of monitoring. I feel anxious to get that EWCM and I think my anxiety is pushing it back even further. Any tips on relaxing? I even had a drink last night (the first in a long time) to help! It did help at the time, but a little while later I was back to anxiety!

    @photojane: I feel your pain!

I caved and tested today at 10dpo and it was BFN so I was irrationally upset! I know last MC I tested positive at 10dpo, so I am thinking it should already be bossing if it did work this cycle blah!
