@Mrs. Peanut: yoga is pretty good for getting you breathing/moving. As is meditation but I'm a bit slack with that - haha. Good luck!

Just wanted to say that I"m cheering you all on here. I will be joining again in November, assuming this cycle goes relatively normally!

@WinterBee: I hope it's just too early!! AF is still a few days away right? I think you still have a good chance. If not, maybe the OPK can help for next time. My cycles were irregular too after coming off BCP. Actually the first couple months it was 31 or 32 days then got longer and longer. Now I use the CBEFM and sometimes check it with internet cheapies. That cbefm is expensive.

@Mrs. Peanut: Hope you Oed and maybe just missed it? Otherwise, I do love wine for relaxing! Oh and yoga used to help me too.
@Nutella: I think you're still in! 10 dpo is early. Fingers crossed for you!

@tiramisu: Thanks my cycles were normal when I went off of bcp, until we started ttc... of course... lol.

@tiramisu: thank you for the luck! Just hoping I'm one of the fortunate ones who are extra fertile post-miscarriage!
@WinterBee: I hear you on the wonky cycles. Mine were regular until this latest one post d&c which was 41 days!! But fingers x'd for you.

My spotting stopped. And my bbt went up a bit this morning. I am really really trying to NOT read into anything b/c I don't want to get disappointed. I keep expecting to see AF every time I use the restroom but nothing yet. Ovia says I've got three more days til I test again and I'm going to wait b/c I don't want to see another BFN, I'd rather just wait to get AF

@illumina: sorry!
Ladies, I need some advice. I started temping on 10/3 (CD 2), and for 2 days the temps hovered in the low 97s. The past few days my temps have been in the low 98s. I tried researching online but found nothing definitive. My sleep has been a little interrupted after having a cold around 10/3. Does that make my temps go up?

@Ajsmommy: How many DPO are you?
@marley: Do you use FertilityFriend? I find my charts very hard to interpret on my own - they have software that does it for you.
@illumina: So sorry!
kiwi / 706 posts
@JoJoGirl: yes I use that and it's telling my my temperature is fluctuating more than normal.
pomegranate / 3355 posts
@JoJoGirl: that's the million dollar question! LOL. I didn't get a +opk this month, but I missed testing on cd13 and cd14 b/c I ran out of test strips. And FF didn't give me cross hairs either. So I honestly don't know when I o'd.
Based on CM I'd guess between cd13-cd16 making me 8-11dpo. Spotting occurred on 7-9dpo (if I o'd cd13) OR 4-6dpo (if I o'd cd16). Today is cd24 8-11dpo. I tested yesterday and BFN.
My BBT went up this morning.
I'm feeling crampy today so I keep thinking it's AF. but nothing yet. no spotting today either.

@illumina: Sorry about AF
@marley: Interrupted sleep can definitely make your temps higher. Don't give up temping though! Mark down that you slept poorly in the notes section. It will give you a # on your chart so you'll be able to pick those days out easily. If you want to, once you're back to 'normal', you can have FF discard those temps (they will still be there, just not in the calculation) and it will help the program figure out your true BBT. Also, check the batteries on your thermometer! Mine started giving weird results and I realized I hadn't changed the battery in a year.

@marley: I'm not sure but I've been temping the past few months and my temps seem crazy too.... But I don't think I get enough solid sleep (23 mos old) and I bet you being sick could def affect it.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Ajsmommy: Okay I don't want to get your hopes up, but spotting + temp rise + cramping = I'd test tomorrow.
kiwi / 706 posts
@JoJoGirl: @thismustbetheplace: @Ajsmommy: thanks, everyone! I'll keep temping. I'm new at this so I'm super grateful for the advice.
@Ajsmommy: hopefully it's not AF cramping!
pomegranate / 3355 posts
@JoJoGirl: I'm just scared to get my hopes up!! I don't usually spot and I didn't w/DD. And the temp thing could be a fluke, bc like @marley I feel like my temps are all over the place sometimes! I'm going to try to wait to test... be sure this isn't AF. I really think it could just be my period coming
@BandDmommy: I think I will wait until Saturday or sunday to test. Just to make sure AF isn't coming
kiwi / 706 posts
@Ajsmommy: Sigh. Sometimes I wish we were see through and I can just see what is going in there...
persimmon / 1045 posts
Can someone please talk me down from testing until AF is due please?! I can't handle any more bfn! I've tested at 10 & 11dpo, both stark white. Cue irrational disappointment. I just can't handle the thought of this taking many more months - sorry for being such a sad sack!
kiwi / 706 posts
@Nutella:
I think you should weigh seeing early BFNs with your compulsion. For some people it might ease their anxiety to just test. Since you know it's early, the BFNs aren't that disappointing, right? Ugh, sorry if I'm being an enabler.

@Ajsmommy: Goodluck!!!!
@Nutella: I'm in the same boat. I was going to test tomorrow, but I *know* it'll be negative... ugh. I think I'm going to wait until Saturday and see what happens. It doesn't help that I don't really know when I will get AF.
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: thanks dear! I suppose my logic was that because I got a at 10dpo last time. But I hear that it can differ between pregnancies so I really should chill!
@WinterBee: good luck with waiting! I'll be joining you in waiting it out

Hi all, is it too late to join?
Cycle Day: 11
TTC Cycle #: 3
Ovulation and POAS dates: I think/hope I'll ovulate 10/11, probably test around 12 DPO.
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: Not go insane pressuring myself. This is my first TTC cycle after a miscarriage (hi, @nutella!) My period mercifully came after only 3.5 weeks post-D&C, and I feel so much urgency to make up for lost time, even though I understand that it does not, does NOT work like that. I've also heard so many stories of women becoming hyper-fertile after a m/c, and I'm hoping to be one of them, but then pretending not to hope so I don't jinx it even though I claim to not be a superstitious person... um. Other plans include sex every other day for the next week with my lovely and accommodating husband.
For Fun: What are you being for Halloween? Team at my office always does a group thing, and I think we might do the board game/movie Clue this year, in which case I am definitely dressing up as the rope.

@LCTBQE: hello! How exciting you are joining the madhouse
It's funny, I think your OB said the same thing, that the post-MC super-fertility isn't just a myth! His very technical explanation was that hormones are running on high, so that means good things for TTC! So, fingers and toes are crossed for you too!
I love how you're dressing up as a rope! How does that even work?
persimmon / 1045 posts
@marley: I recognise that urge...don't feel bad! I'm nearly out of HPTs (1 left?!) so think that might solve my problem!
pear / 1593 posts
@Nutella: man I'm only 4 DPO and it took all my willpower not to buy preg tests tonight because I know I won't wait until a reasonable time to use them! I'm always like "maybe I ovulated earlier than I think"
pear / 1593 posts
@LCTBQE: @Nutella: FX about the extra fertility, this is my first cycle post m/c as well. Not to be a bummer but it wasn't so the first time I had a m/c - it took 4 cycles after that to conceive my son
persimmon / 1045 posts
@runnerd: thanks & good luck to you! Always good to hear others' stories post-MC, it's a new territory for me. Good thinking on holding out on buying tests too!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@runnerd: First cycle most-MC over here too! Can't believe there are so many of us.
