@Boopers: Ooh exciting-- I hope it's implantation bleeding! FX for you!
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@Boopers: Gah, good luck not reading into it! I had what I think might be the elusive "implantation dip" in temperature on 7dpo but the more I read on it and looked at old charts, the more I think it was just normal for that time. So hard not to think about it though!
@Littlebit: I'm also digging "May the odds be ever in your favor." So fitting! haha

@Littlebit: love the Hunger Games and can't wait for the movie. Maybe I should try and distract myself from this tww by watching the trailers...
Though I do have to say I hope there are more winners at the end of this month!!! Fx!

I tested a little early, I was suppose to test on the 8th and I tested a couple days early.i tested on the 6th and the 7th both were negative, but I should have started now and I havent. Has anyone been late while on clomid and not ended up pregnant? I dont want to see ANOTHER negative.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@fotolori1: are you sure about when you ovulated? They always told me clomid can make you ovulate later than normal.
apricot / 386 posts
I didnt take an ovulation test, I was cramping so bad and had good cervical mucus, I just kind of assumed and timed accordingly. I assumed around day 15 and today is cd 29, so maybe I wont start until tomorrow?

So my strange bleeding lasted only about 4 days and was just very different from my normal period bleeding (TMI, sorry). I still have no idea if it was just random bleeding, implantation bleeding, or possibly a chemical pregnancy(?). I tested this AM (BFN) but if my approximate O date was correct, then I'm only about 7dpo. Not sure if I should just wait until next week to see if my period starts when it's "supposed" to (14th), or assume that this really was my period - in which case that moves up my dates to BD again this month?
Ugh. How annoying. This has never happened to me before. Before I had LO everything was always super on-time.

@Keppa: I don't believe implantation bleeding would last that long. When I was pregnant I had breakthrough bleeding around the time of my period, but it was very light spotting for a day. I personally never had implantation bleeding so I'm not an expert.

So, I O'd way early in my cycle...I'm not saying earlier than the usual though, bc this was my first month with the CBEFM, which calculated my O to be about 5 days earlier than my stupid OvuView phone app has been telling me (for the last 9 months)...so could this be my month? here's hoping! But, ya wanna know what really sucks?? Since I O'd early and I have a 32 day cycle, I am ending up waiting THREE weeks (19 days) before testing. I absolutely refuse to test before I miss my period (I feel like I'm jinxing it). So I am changing my POAS date, let's just say to...TBD bc I'm just gonna sit back and wait for stupid AF...bc with my luck I'll be out this month as usual! FX though, always!

@littlek: I used first morning urine for this cycle, and I got one smiley, which means that I caught it in the middle of my surge (I think)

@MrsMcD: @Littlebit: I really hated the third book, but loved the first two! Also, I can't help but think that Hunger Games is based on the Japanese film Battle Royale.

@Keppa: My cycle is a mess too after having LO. I used to be so regular and now my cycles are all over the place. I **think we are calming down and averging 26 - 28 days.

Woke up this morning, and my temp has dropped to my coverline. So annoying! This chart is so wacky, I've got one major drop of a full degree, and now this half degree drop. Makes me think that AF is coming. Boo. I hate reading into this but I sure was reading into those climbing temps. how do you keep temping from ruining your mood??
pear / 1657 posts
@princessandthebee: I think I am in the same boat. My temps are still above the cover line but have been trending downward for the last few days I'm feeling bummed but trying to look on the bright side - if AF shows up I get to keep my hair color appointment this weekend and drink champagne with my best friend at her wedding next weekend.

@princessandthebee: It always affects my mood for the day also I know it's easier said than done, but I would try not to get upset yet. Temps dropping aren't a fool proof way of determining AF is on her way. Last cycle my temps were still really high and I got AF! My temps didn't start dropping until CD3..so you really never know.
@Sprite: Have you tested?!?

Hey ladies - just checking in to say hello.
12DPO here...which is the day I got my last two BFPs. I tested last night and got a STRONG negative...I mean NOTHING! So I am not sure I am going to test tonight. I read somewhere that progesterone can lengthen your LP (mine is usually 12 days) so I could very well still get my period in the next couple of days.
Two things to note...Tuesday I had cramps like I was getting my period but then then totally went away. Yesterday I had a poking/pulling sensation in my lower left abdomen which felt a LOT like what I felt with my last two pregnancies. I'm not sure what it all means but it definitely made me wonder.
Today I am not really feeling anything, my temp is still holding strong at 98.4 BUT with my previous pregnancies my temp jumped to 98.8 after implantation.
I'm still thinking I am out this month but holding on to just the tiniest bit of hope!

@CakeLady: Way to go on looking on the bright side! I guess the only thing I can think of is more time to save money/drink my vanilla lattes?
@Littlebit: Thanks you're right. I'm sure people get PG with crazier charts than mine. I'm going to try and not think about it too much today and see what tomorrow's temp brings.
@whatsarahsaid: I'm still hoping for you too girl! The pulling sensation sounds promising!

@princessandthebee: @CakeLady: @whatsarahsaid: Fingers crossed for you still!
I feel like a crazy person, like I am just making up random feelings but I have had a mild pain in my lower right side since two days before ovulation. At first I decided it was just the gear up for ovulation, then actual ovulation but now? I am 6 dpo and I would happily try to convince myself it was implantation but it has been the exact same spot and never really went away. I have had cysts in the past but I don't really remember it being a sustained thing then either. This whole process is already making me crazy, the idea of doing this for months on end is terrifying.

@princessandthebee: Thanks so much for the good wishes...I need all the help I can get!

@whatsarahsaid: Fingers crossed. When are you testing again?
@Cole: Hopefully it was implantation.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
well I have ended up in a situation I didn't expect . . . thought for sure I was out and had asked to rollover. but my spotting from Sunday didn't continue. just for the heck of it I tested yesterday and got a super-squinter, within the time-frame but very very light. tested again today hoping for darker but I'd say it was about the same, still within the time-frame but super light. I've never had a false positive on a FRER, but bought a CVS blue-line "early" test and took a random midday test (the others were FMU). again, positive within the time frame but the line is light and skinny.
so I'm sure there's some HCG floating around, but I'm pretty worried it's another chemical (I had two before LO). I didn't confirm O but I do know our last BD was 9/26 before hubs left on a trip. seems like it should be darker - or at least should be darkening in 24 hours. I know they say not to read tests that way, but not darkening was my first indication of trouble in my other two chemicals so I can't help but worry. I do know in the early stages they don't darken as quickly. I've had a lot of symptoms but not all are unique to a + cycle so trying not to read into them either way.
basically I know I just have to wait it out, not in the mood to bother with a blood test right now so I'm going to keep testing through the weekend and see where things are by Monday - consider calling the dr then if nothing has changed either way.
pray for my sanity over the next few days!

Called my fertility specialist this morning and they said that clomid CAN extend your cycle. Even though I usually start on day 28, today being day 30 isnt much to be excited about. I guess I am just going to wait and see what happens. I hate seeing a bfn. I would rather see AF than a negative test.

@whatsarahsaid: and @Cole: I am really hoping for the best for both of you girls! All signs are pointing to positive so far! FX!
@bhbee: I'm sorry you are in limbo. I hope you figure it out soon!
@fotolori1: Have you tested at all?
apricot / 386 posts
I tested with one of the .88 walmart tests 2 days before my period was due and it was negative. Im not sure if it was too early or not.

@whatsarahsaid: if what you felt yesterday was implantation, then there is still lots of hope!!! I didn't test positive until almost 48 hours after my implantation cramps. Fingers super, super crossed!
@bhbee: I'm so sorry. Hoping that this next test only brings good things for you. Hang in there!

@Littlebit: thanks for checking in. No, I haven't even bothered to test. Had a big temp dip this morning, after a small dip yesterday, so I'm pretty sure I'm out, and now just waiting for AF to show up. She was due today (short LP), but I'm hoping for a silver lining that she will show up tomorrow, and I'll at least get a lengthened LP out of this bummer of a cycle.

@bhbee: I'm sorry. That sounds so frustrating! Hope you get an answer soon to what is going on.

@whatsarahsaid: Jumping in to say that I think implantation can happen anywhere from 6DPO to 12DPO so 11DPO is definitely not too late!

@MrsKoala: Ohhh..good to know! For some reason I thought it happened right around 1 week! Thank you!!

@whatsarahsaid: I have been stalking countdowntopregnancy.com because they spell out what is possibly happening each day in the tww. They have an implantation calculator too-- http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/tools/implantation_calculator.php It says between 6 & 12 dpo too. Fingers crossed for you!

@bhbee: Monday will be here before you know it!! Hope it goes by super fast for you!

@whatsarahsaid: I felt all sorts of symptoms including cramping at 5dpo...I got BFN's at 8dpo, 10dpo and 11dpo. Long story short I didn't see a BFP until 13dpo in the evening!! So you definitely have time FX
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@bhbee: Well that's exciting and frustrating at the same time! Keep us posted, sorry you are dealing with this!
@Sprite: Sorry to hear that. Hoping temps don't mean everything! Glad your LP is lengthening then!
