    @cole @peacockblue @chastenet @littleredhairedgrl
    @norcalwayfarer Thanks Ladies!

So the doc called with blood result. I got my much needed confirmation and she said everything was looking good. And not to worry so much.

As promised, here are my symptoms per dpo
1dpo- sore nipples in the showers
    4dpo-started breaking out a bit
    5dpo-more breakouts
    7dpo-intense pms pain
    9dpo-swollen boobs

And now that's I'm 11dpo I would say the main symptoms are
swollen boobs and enhanced sense of smell.

I'll be cheering this month and hoping it sticks

My temp is down again today. Any idea how much room temperature affects it? Our house has also dropped about 10 degrees over the past few days. Grasping at straws much? Haha.

@Cole: Thanks! The way my chart's looking, I'm gonna need it Good luck to you too!

@Mrs. Amethyst: Sorry! Love your positive attitude though!

@Littlebit: Same here! And then after I enter my data I tend to compare any changes in my chart to other charts (usually the pregnant ones) for way too long. As if it will affect my outcome!

@NorCalWayfarer: Welcome back! Sorry to see you are a rollover, you were a fellow Oct. 12th POAS-er with me!

@LiliBillie: Thanks for sharing your symptoms! I break out every month so I can't call that anything unusual, haha.

@loopedd: i kniw its ages since you posted but nit been onlibe for ages. My first cycle after bcp I ov'ed on cd 24 but next cycle it came forward to cd16 with a longer luteal phase. I had heard that they can make you deficient in vit b6 and so was taking a b vit complex. Don't know if that's helped get back on track so quickly but happy with the result anyway!!

@Littlebit: @whatsarahsaid: I love entering stuff into FF too, somehow I managed to miss all the boxes we can check for symptoms until a few days ago. I kept wondering how so many people could go back and pinpoint their symptoms!

@LiliBillie: Hurray for official confirmation! I am impressed they fit you in and got you results so quickly. I appreciate your symptoms list, I am 5 dpo and I am going to just take the fact that I am breaking out as good news instead of the likely fact that swimming kills my skin :).

@mrsabel59: Welcome! It looks like we have the same poas day, although you apparently have much more patience than I do since you ovulated way before me! Fingers crossed for both of us!

What time does everyone test using their OPKs? I work full time and leave the house around 5:30 a.m. and don't return home till 6:30 p.m. Do you think if I test when I get home that will be fine? I saw not to use FMU.

@crunchy1: Is this your first time temping? It's mine too. PP were saying that it's more about the pattern than he actual temp. But I'm no expert.

@littlek: I kept reading that 2 was ideal and I did that once at work... except I was in a hurry and left the test there. So I started holding it from 2/3 until I got home. I actually got a really strong positive around 8:30 one night, the 5:15 one had been close but the later one was super obvious.

@littlek: I do mine when I get home from work which usually ends up around 8pm or so. I've had some cycles where I've missed it but I think that's more due to a short surge than the timing of my OPKs.

@littlek: @crunchy1: Yes, more about the pattern and not the number of the temperature! Everyone's BBT will vary.

@littlek: my REs policy is to test at 6:45am. You're supposed to call before 7am if you get a positive OPK.

I always had a negative that early. The first time I got a positive opk was at 4:30 in the afternoon. I conceived the next day!

I bought a box of 20 on amazon & will test in the morning and afternoon this time around.

@littlek: Hm. When I test twice a day (the two or three days before predicted O) I usually do once around 10am, and then once around 6pm. I'm actually doing this right now because I should be O'ing Friday or Saturday and I usually get 2 days of positives before I actually ovulate. When I test once a day I usually do it around 4pm.

@littlek: I test twice a day...once around 11am and another time around 3pm. SOMETIMES (especially as I get closer to my suspected O date) I test a third time at around 7pm. I get a little obsessed and don't want to miss the surge! lol!

  20. Mrs. Cookie

    blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts

@littlek: This month was my first time using OPK's and I tested right away in the morning (7 AM) and then around 8-9 PM. But going forward I don't think I'll test that early again.

My first faint lines came on a Saturday but didn't look positive until Sunday, so we BD'd at noon. Then Monday morning was the most positive and we BD again. By Monday afternoon (I thought I'd check midday) it was fainter again. However both Tuesday and Wednesday morning I had darker lines again (that got lighter as the day went on) so I decided to stop checking because I was starting to doubt my O day. But since I had my temp spike on Tuesday as well as fertile CM, I decided I was getting false positives with FMU.

Is that normal for anyone else?

  21. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@princessandthebee: I read not to use FMU. Supposedly, FMU is best for pregnancy tests but not OPKs.

@littlek: I test at work. I try to be so covert bringing the OPK back to my office with me. I seriously go into stealth mode.

@bhbee: Thanks lady. I'm trying to be positive about it!!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: you make it sound so easy!!!

@MrsMcD: haha, it was easy to pee on the OPK but kind of nervewracking! thought it was also easy to order them online and have them shipped right to my door.

I start Clomid tomorrow, so I'm officially out for October. I won't POAS until November 4!

I had such a crazy-vivid dream this morning about getting a BFP, the two pink lines were burned in my brain! In my dream I couldn't even wait until the test dried before I was taking a picture of it to share with all you ladies.

But of course, I woke up to a slightly lower temp than yesterday, so I'm still holding off on testing until tomorrow. Last cycle on CD11 I had a big temp dip and on CD12 it was all over. I know the whole "not out until you're out" but I'm feeling bummed to see the lower temp today on CD11 again, and no longer feeling too hopeful this cycle. Oh well, I guess this means I'll probably get to drink some wine this weekend to usher in cycle #7

@Sprite: Wine really helps everything, doesn't it?? It's funny how our subconscious works -- it's like your brain wants so much to see those lines that it's trying to dream them into existence!

Speaking of which, I just tested and it's almost positive but not quite. I think it will definitely be positive tonight, so it looks like we'll be BDing tonight and tomorrow...hopefully this good timing will be in our favor! LOL. 'May the odds be ever in your favor' - I think I'll add that to the next POAS update!!!

@Cole Thanks! I rarely break out so I was surprised. It was more like one huge zit then gone then another then gone. Also, it hasn't stop... what happened to beautiful glow?

As far as doc-Doc office told me I didn't need an appointment for a blood test and that they will get the results the following day at noon. The following day, the doc called me at 5 pm and went through the result with me.
From noon to 5, I was pretty much a ball of stress. "What aren't they calling me?" "What if the tests were faulty?"...
Funny what we do to ourselves.

Good luck to everyone this month

So this afternoon I had a little blood in my CM. It was pinkish red and definitely not AF and didn't feel like spotting either. I can't be more than 5 DPO.

I never ever bleed mid cycle, so I'm wondering if it could be implantation bleeding but it just seems too early. I'm trying not to read too much into it, but I am now going to be intensely symptom spotting! D'oh!
