@faithfertility: I hope you were fine during the baby shower. I have one coming up in a few weeks. They used to be so fun... If only we could all have one openly TTC friend with us at each baby shower we attend while TTC. That would seem like not much to ask for!

I know ALL too well the pain of attending baby showers! Two weeks after my 1st M/C I had to help host a baby shower and now this weekend I am helping to host another one for a friend who is due two weeks before what would have been my due date with my second M/C. This one will be especially tough since I know had I stayed pregnant I would be having a shower soon as well. It's so tough! HUGS!

So I went to the doctor at lunch and took a blood test. I should have final results tomorrow so Fx!
My best friend+ DH still don't believe me. Luckily, I have you gals. -
@whatsarahsaid: Yeah, temp this morning was about the same as Friday and before. I'm missing Saturday and Sunday temps but given that today was pre-O level, it might not matter. I've been using OPKs and faint lines appear but nothing + yet. We've been BDing every day for nothing!

@LindsayInNY: Ugh...I feel your pain! I'm still not entirely convinced I O'ed this month given how strange my "post O" temps have been. I hate all this uncertainty. Why can't our bodies just cooperate!?

@whatsarahsaid: I've had cycles where my + OPK isn't blatently obvious but my temps go up to confirm. What worries me now is the lack of CM. It's usually creamy pre-O to more watery-ish and then dry post-O (or sometimes creamy again). I think I'm dry now? I'm with ya on the uncertainty =/

@MrsMcD: Part of me wishes I could bow out gracefully but the one this weekend is for my very best friend in the whole world. It's definitely tough to go through though. I test on Friday morning so hopefully Sunday won't be as difficult cause I will have a recent BFP to keep my spirits up.

Thanks for the suggestions about progesterone testing. I will definitely talk to my doctor about it if the spotting continues.
Good news - it was only one little bit on 6 DPO and I haven't had anymore since. I waited awhile to update because I didn't want to jinx myself. Still not feeling that optimistic because my temperatures are kinda trending downward and not very stable. Any thoughts? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/crunchy1

Hi ladies,
Sincere thanks to all for your responses. My temp did indeed shoot up this morning, but I have woken up with the flu and a fever... so it's unlikely to be as a result of normal cycle temp rise.
How typical on the day I was desperately waiting to see what my body would do. Another spanner in the works - seems to be typical on this TTC journey.
Best of luck to all poasers this week!!!! It's so addictive

I took my temp this morning and it was at 98.1 so it's definitely dropping, so I'm hoping to be in the average in the next few days once AF leaves me. Funny, I was taking my temp this morning, DH runs into the room and freaks out asking me why I'm taking my temp and making sure I'm okay. When I told him it was for charting, he calmed down and finished getting ready for work. I'm so happy, he's being supporting about TTC. He works a lot and it's nice to know that he is making this his priority instead of always putting work first.

Anyone else get a sick satisfaction when they enter a bunch of things in FF? Hahaha. Entered in BD, CM, opk results, and temp yesterday and it made me feel accomplished
I have no idea why! Maybe because it makes me feel like I have a little bit of control over something in the TTC process?? Even though that couldn't be further from the truth!
