    @LindsayInNY: sounds like a BD storm will need to happen!

    @peacockblue: Congrats! Here's to a H & H 9 months!!
    @FaithFertility: Sorry your cycle is being wonky.. but glad to hear things are moving forward for you. See you on the November thread!
    @LindsayInNY: Maybe not having the BBT will take some of the pressure off? Just do it when you feel like it! There's something about being in a hotel that's very conducive to BDing... or maybe that's just me?

    I think I will actually move my test to October 10. I think my O date might have been off. No signs of AF and I'm currently at CD27.

    @thismustbetheplace: Thank you, actaually woke up this morning to some spotting again......hoping its the real deal and AF comes so I don't have to take those meds...

    Prepping to go to a babyshower today, never have felt the blahhhh factor about attending one, but I know the questions will come on to why we have been married for almost 4 yrs and no kiddos..............

    @mrskoloa: yes. obsessively, apparently :). Different brands, at different times of day......the whole shebang. Trying to stay sane
    and not compare the faintness of the lines and what that might mean, but that is proving to be very difficult!

    @lindsayinny: my chemical was in early August. I am not really sure if I ovulated in August--I wanted to get the Ovacue and use that instead of OPKs, just for a change, so I sort of just let the month go and waited for my period which came Sept. 6th. Totally agree with @thismustbetheplace, take advantage of that hotel room this weekend ;). Hopefully it will be nice just to have that change of scenery!

    @faithfertility:FX that the spotting turns into something more so you can avoid provera! That would be awesome.

    can you switch my poas date to the 11th? i will be at the RE for blood test that day and too nervous to test at home!

    mind nausea today and sharp cramping on right side. also incredibly tired but restless nights with super crazy dreams. bbs are also HUGE and so so painful..

    anyone experience nausea at only 9dpo?

    Has anyone had any intermenstrual bleeding? I am only CD 17 and I am supposed to ovulate anytime now (even have the blinking smiley on the OPKs) however I started to spot yesterday and it is getting heavier (watery and more red in color now) I am not having any cramping, but my last period was unusually short. I am always regular in cycle length- this is frustrating. Thank-you for the input!

    well, I think I am probably out. had spotting today at 10 or 11 dpo, and while there's a first time for everything, that has always meant AF is coming sooner or later. I actually hope it is sooner (every time I ovulate late I seem to have a short LP so hoping that will hold true) - I'm so ready to ditch this cycle! late ovulation and lots of mid-2WW symptoms really messed with my head.
    I doubt it will happen but if AF could just get here tomorrow I might be able to sneak in a Halloween bonus test

    @littleredhairedgrl: YES. I had awful nausea 5 days before my BFP, and it still hasn't stopped at 13w4d. I felt like I had the flu, and I couldn't eat anything. Fingers crazy crossed for you!!!

    @Claire.Peonies: I've had some spotting, but nothing that sounds like it was that much. Hoping you can get some answers soon...

    Well, I'm out and I didn't even get to pee on anything. My first TWW and my first disappointment!

    I learned a lot about my cycle this month after 10 years on HBC, so that's a plus. I didn't O until CD22 and then woke up Friday at 7DPO with spotting, which led to AF arriving on Saturday, 4 days early. Unsure if things are still working themselves out, cycle-wise. Also, when I got my +OPKs it happened to be a terrible, terrible week at work for DH and so I'm hoping we can have more fun with the BD part of it next time!

    I was super bummed on Saturday but we were away visiting friends and hey... I got to drink plenty of wine

    @loopedd: sorry! It really stinks when af shows up before you can even poas!

    Your cycle sounds a lot like my first cycle off hbc after about 15 years - didn't o until day 21 and af showed up 7 days later. Don't loose hope though, things seem to be getting more normal for me - on cycle 3 now. O'ing earlier and somewhat longer lp.

    @CakeLady: oh man, that makes me feel a LOT better! Thank you so much for the encouragement. I'm a little freaked out by the short LP but hopefully that will work itself out. In the meantime I will keep tracking away!!

    My POAS date is up in the air! For the first time ever, it looks like Clomid didn't work for me - I might not ovulate at all. Gonna give it about another week, but I may be a nonstarter for October. Now that we've officially been trying for a year, with an early miscarriage under our belts... I am now struggling to keep up my positive attitude. Oh well. We have our first appt with an RE in November - I hope a specialist can help.

  20. HeartAbandoned

    @ShayNanigans: Hoping the RE can shed some light on what's going on. And hoping even more that you won't need that appt! Good luck!

    So, charting question. This is my first time using BBT. I took my temp this morning, CD2, (2nd day of AF) and my temp was 98.5. Is it common for temp to be so high during AF? I was reading "average" temps are around 97.2 o 97.7. I think it's high because of AF and will drop tomorrow. Our AC broke last night and our room was a tad bit hot (not crazy uncomfortable hot but hotter than normal) and I wonder if that caused my BBT to be high?? I'm so annoyed our AC broke, our house is 1 year old, grrrrr....

  29. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

    @buffalove: booo for AF.. but yay for 2nd chance in october! I'm in the same boat!

  30. Cole

    grapefruit / 4649 posts

    @littlek: This was really only my first cycle too so I don't have a wealth of knowledge here but my temp was high at least until the third day of my period and I didn't temp 4 or 5 so I am not sure when it dropped but by day 6 it had come down to that "average" range.

    It stinks that we have had several BFNs but I am glad so many people are getting a bonus try this month!

    I just got cross hairs on fertility friend this morning so fingers crossed, I am pretty sure our timing was at least decent. I was trying to follow smep but instead it really worked out to eod. The upshot is since it took three days to get cross hairs it means my tww is 3 days shorter!

    Hi guys,

    Charting for the first time this month, and as my cycles average 27 or 28 days, I expected to O on CD14. My temp has gone up on CD 15 and CD 16, but only by a tiny amount - I was expecting a big jump to the 97.7-99.0 Fahrenheit/ 36.5-37.22 Celsius range.

    Does a rising temp alone indicate O, or does it need to hit that recommended range?!

    I am now freaking myself out and wondering do I O at all!

    Link to my chart, if it helps: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/47029a

    Thanks a mill girls!

    @ash427, @bhbee, @thismustbetheplace: any updates, ladies?!

    @MrsMcD: ?!?!?! Have you tested?

    @MrsCDH: I've had small temp increases that indicated O before! They jumped up higher a little later in the TWW. I think you O'd! A red crosshair will appear on your chart the 3rd day after ovulation. You can see it on mine for last months chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Littlebit)

    @MrsCDH: My temperature rise was really small too, I'm on my phone so I can't link to my chart right nowbut I think it is on one of the first pages. I am probably the last person who should be guessing but if I had to I would guess you might get cross hairs tomorrow meaning today you are 2dpo.

    Cycles Trying: I think this is our 9th? I'm trying not to dwell too much on this question.
    Current Cycle Day: CD10
    Estimated Ovulation Date: Today or tomorrow! I got a smile on the clear blue easy OPK this am.
    POAS Date: I'm going to make myself wait until at least the 23rd.
    BD Timing: Since I got a + OPK this morning, we'll shoot for every day for the next few days. Already went once (haha) on CD 8 and 9.
    Anything new or extra this cycle? I've been using OPK for the past three cycles...this is the first + that I've seen, so I'm really excited about that. I was assuming I ovulated around CD 11 or 12, so I think I actually just wasn't testing early enough prior to this month.

    Bonus Question: What is your favorite holiday? Christmas! Once all of the stress of preparing is over, anyways

    @FaithFertility: Eh, yes and no... I thought my cycle was regulating but I'm at CD 23 and nothing yet. =/
