Lots and lots and lots of newbees this month! Good luck to everyone!
Cycles Trying: 6
Current Cycle Day: 11
Estimated Ovulation Date: CD 19/20
POAS Date: TBD, but I think it will be my 30th birthday. So, yeah.
BD Timing: Timing is not ideal this month. DH will be on a week-long business trip so I do not have much hope for this cycle. I plan on accosting him when he gets off the plane and hoping for the best.
Anything new or extra this cycle? Nope
Bonus Question: What is your favorite holiday? Christmas, followed by Halloween. I love fall!

Joining as a cheerleader! Was hoping Id be POAS, but IVF is our new reality, and I highly doubt it'll happen in October. But I'm excited for everyone!!! Love a new POAS thread!!!

Yay October POAS!!! Officially, I'll be cheerleading! \o/ (seriously, so cute!!) We're NTNP now, so there is a possibility I could POAS this month, but since I'm not charting at all, I won't officially join
And I agree with the previous posters who said Halloween through Christmas is their favorite holiday!! I just really love this time of year (which also includes my birthday!)
Good luck and baby dust, everyone!!!

@buffalove: How old is your LO? I got my BFP for LO in early Nov 2011 as well. My little guy is 16 months old, our original due date was July 2012, but he decided he was ready to be born at 34 weeks.
kiwi / 640 posts
@littlek: he's 14 months, born at the end of July. I guess we're on the same plan, eh?

You'd think after 9 months of trying I wouldn't get my hopes up and symptom spot each month. My newest symptom is headaches; usually I only get a headache a few days before AF, but I've head a mild headache the past 3 days!! Trying not to go too nutso!

@buffalove: Awww...thank you SO much for your encouraging words! It really means SO much!
Unfortunately...I jumped the gun in thinking I ovulated. Still no sustained temp jump and I'm on CD19. REALLY hoping I O soon...I get nervous that if I DO get a BFP this month that I'll M/C again because my last BFP that ended in M/C came after an O on CD20.

@Littlebit: soon as I posted that I didn't know about O date, things got a little more clear . . . looks like my body did try twice this month! I'm going to push my test date back to 10/6 but on the plus side I am feeling much more positive that we are in the game this month. also hubs is coming back from a trip on 10/6 so if we did get a BFP it would be fun news to come home to

@buffalove: that's awesome We're still pretty new to the area, but we love it here!
@loopedd: amen, sister!
@whatsarahsaid: so you know, I always, always ovulate late. I've ovulated on CD 40 before. With this little one, I O'd around CD 22. It doesn't really mean much at all, actually...the part of your cycle before you O is the variable part. So, if you had acute stress, or got sick or travelled, or whatever, there are a million reasons why you may O later. I O'd a month late when we moved last year-a MONTH after I thought I would! But I was so stressed out. Once things settled, I ovulated almost immediately.
Please don't think I'm trying to say, "calm down and it will happen." I promise, promise, promise, I'm not I just want you to know that if this is your BFP cycle, it doesn't make any difference into the viability of the pregnancy if you O late. I was a nervous wreck about pretty much everything during my July cycle and this pregnancy-and to be honest, I still am. It's almost impossible not to be when you've been through what we have. But maybe this is one thing you can let yourself have a break from stressing about!

@buffalove: then we share a history, too. So glad to see you got your sweet little one-hope this time is so much easier for you!

@mrs. 64: I'm turning 30 in October too! On the 4th, although my POAS day is a week after that but I'm sure I'll be thinking about it A LOT on my bday.
@littlek: Yay for October birthdays!
Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

Bonus Question: What is your favorite holiday? thanksgiving!
After a chemical pregnancy last month when NTNP (and without first getting my period back as I am still breastfeeding my 12 month old), I decided to get an Ovacue for our first official trying cycle and I am loving it. Does anyone else have experience using one?

@mrskoloa: Oh! I had you down as TBD, I'm sorry!
@peacockblue: Welcome!

@doxielove: I hear you on the headaches.. mine are just in the mornings? And not severe, just annoying enough for me to acknowlage they're there.
I'm 7DPO today with some very suspicious light brown CM last night, wondering if it could be implantation? Big temp jump this morning.
@Littlebit: Can you move me to Oct 4 for a POAS date? I have an MRI that afternoon so I am going to POAS early to see if i'm able to take a sedative or not.
nectarine / 2932 posts
@thismustbetheplace: Yup! It'll be on the next update (next page). Temp jump and spotting is promising!! You'll be 14dpo when you test?
kiwi / 633 posts
@Littlebit: Yup. My average luteal phase is 16-18 days so I'm going to wait a bit longer than most to test. I know I'll be dying to test sooner though...
