@Littlebit: The list looks great! Good luck to everyone this month! If I recall, the "Pumpkin Smugglers" of 2012 had great luck!!

@littleredhairedgrl: welcome!
I have to say, I am so excited for all of our testers! I feel like there's a lot of POAS'ers this month! Good luck, ladies!

@T.H.O.U.: Thanks! Ah, the 'pumpkin smugglers' is such a great name for a POAS thread! Too cute.

@Littlebit: Yes! Last year there were themes to a bunch of them!

Add me to the cheerleaders list! I stalk these threads anyway so I might as well confess to it!

@whatsarahsaid: Yaaay!! FX (everything crossed!) for you and happier memories! Side note, what did you decide to do with progesterone now? I should be Oing this weekend so I'm trying to figure out when to start it post-O.
@princessandthebee: Let's see if I can help with BDing and OPKs... Once I get a +OPK, I try to continue another one or two BDs. I don't think you need to do twice a day. Maybe take a night off and then go one more round tomorrow?
@loopedd: The scheduling BD can suck at times... When we're super tired, we aim for just before bed. That way everything stays inside and we just pass out after. Romantic, I know!

@Littlebit: I was just thinking the same... We have a *long* POAS group this month!!

@LindsayInNY: I think I'll be starting prog tonight. Soooo excited! Can't you tell!

@whatsarahsaid: Haha. I'm likely a week or so behind you... We can commiserate with everyone else who's been there
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@LindsayInNY: Thanks for the insight girl! So I decided to pee on an OPK stick around 2:30 PM today and the test line is already faded to slightly less than the control line so I'm thinking we've given it our best shot this morning after the darker test line came through! If I don't get a temp spike tomorrow we'll probably BD one more time though. Definitely taking this evening off!
bananas / 9229 posts
@princessandthebee: I think that's a good choice! My OPKs usually get lighter post-O so that's how I sorta confirm too. I think you're safe taking a night off! *Knock on wood* I've only had one cycle where I regretted it because I ended up Oing late, despite a +OPK and everything. So stick with EOD until you have a confirmed temp rise!

@doxielove: hope you are ok with me stalked by me on this thread... Is 2nd when AF is due?
cherry / 106 posts
@Littlebit: @Lugrey508: My AF is super light as well. Acupuncturist says its from my years on BC. My ob/gyn didn't seem concerned about it and when I was being monitored, my lining still got to the thickness it needed to. So cross that worry off you list

@whatsarahsaid: Fingers crossed extra tight for you, my dad passed away almost a year ago and so I am hoping we get lucky this month so I can tell my mom on that anniversary. I totally understand wanting a special memory of life to help balance out the sadness.
@doxielove: Your chart looks awesome, I can't wait for you to find out for sure!
@princessandthebee: This is our first month really trying too and it is crazy trying to make the most of timing. It is amazing how complicated it is possible to make it. My husband has been cracking me up, over the last two weeks he has come home really late a few times because of some commitments but he wakes me up just to make sure we aren't missing an important window.
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@Cole: Seriously, so complicated! The days seem so long when you think of the spermies trying to reach that egg, haha.
Aww, your hubby is a sweetheart!
cherry / 202 posts
@AlmostMrsG: I called my endo to ask her, I think she thinks I'm crazy - she basically said it was not related to my synthroid. I haven't been on bc for at least 10 years and I usually have very painful heavy first 2 days so its really unusual for me. Good idea though to ask my acupuncturist tomorrow at my appt!

Hi all! Nice to be back on these boards for something other than looking up sleep training tips
Cycles Trying: #1 - for baby #2 (already have a 13.5mo old son)
Current Cycle Day: 18
Estimated Ovulation Date: today 9/30
POAS Date: good question...holding off for as long as I can haha!
BD Timing: CD 8, 11, 17 (haha - so not often enough basically)
Anything new or extra this cycle? It's new to not be trying too hard. We only tried for 3 months with our 1st, but I was a nervous wreck and very attentive the whole time. I'd like to try to be a little more laid back this time (*try*).
Bonus Question: What is your favorite holiday? Not really a holiday...but my birthday
kiwi / 536 posts
@LindsayInNY: Romantic indeed! Oh, things take on a whole new meaning when you're TTC eh? I think all the scheduling and charting and data recording has DH as confused as he is excited. He keeps telling me to take a pregnancy test today, as if it's instantaneous. Poor guy
cherry / 235 posts
@Cole: BIG hugs to you...I hate that there is someone else here who knows what it feels like. Hopefully you'll be able to have some happy memories soon too!

@loopedd: awww poor DH, mine will do that too....or 2 weeks after a cycle he will ask it again
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
Yay October, time for some POAS and it's my birthday month!
So I think I had my temp spike this morning but of course my OPK shows a darker test line again... even though I think I waited too long to check it. I guess I'll have to see what the rest of the week brings, but I had bizarre cramping all night that kept me up, or it was the evening latte that I normally never have, oops.
nectarine / 2932 posts
Wohoo to the official start of our POAS! I don't think we have any testers today - but we should have two tomorrow

I'll be cheering you ladies on!!! I'm still waiting for AF to show up before Hubs and I really start TTC - for now we're just NTNP, so no POAS date for me. Wishing you all LOTS of baby dust!!!

I was really hopeful for this cycle but as I sit here at 11DPO i'm feeling very un-pregnant. Having some very mild new symptoms: sensitivity to certain smells, some *mild* cramps, and had some tan CM right around suspected implantation date, but I guess I figured I'd feel more... crappy? Just feeling sort of normal for the most part.
Fingers crossed for everyone testing in the next couple of days!
bananas / 9229 posts
@thismustbetheplace: Granted my BFP only lasted a week, I felt the same way - entirely normal.
