@LindsayInNY: I'm so glad I made you laugh. When I wrote it, I was laughing.

@MrsMcD: If only FF could decipher if being irritable and having anxiety were pregnancy symptoms, or just frustrated with TTC symptoms!

@Sprite: Seriously.... I wish Fertility Friend did more. I look at it so many times a day. Just stare at it. As if something different was going to occur. I add symptoms to the "specific" part just for fun. But no.... no interpretation.
kiwi / 693 posts
@MrsMcD: tell me about it! I also check it multiple times per day, as if something might change magically. And I also add symptoms like crazy. Nothing other than "drinking" or "sleep deprived" seem to ever do anything to my chart though (those two will give your temp an open circle).
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Sprite: Ohhhhh.... I don't do the "charting." I have thought about doing it just so I will have something else to look at on Fertility Friend. I just click back and forth between the months on my calendar. I add things like "wine", "glass of wine", "alcohol."

@MrsMcD: the charting part of it gives you so much more to look at (read: obsess over) in Fertility Friend! I know some people don't chart though, just to protect their sanity, since it is so engrossing.
You don't have to worry about it though, since this is your month for a BFP!

@MrsMcD: I like to stare at it all 2ww as if doing so long enough will change my dpo to be closer to testing day . . .
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@bhbee: yes!!!! Exactly!!! I think that is what I am hoping for as well. What DPO are you????
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
7 I think? I really should push my test date to Sunday but I'm totally going to test Friday. I started with cramps today which has been a bfp sign in the past so it has raised my hopes ... Testing at 9 dpo is just asking for trouble though!!

@fotolori1: That same thing happened to my cousin! She went in for the procedure after months of trying and they said, "Um, you're pregnant!"
Here's hoping for a busy month of many positives, ladies! I'm cheering for you!

@doxielove: bummer! Sorry to hear this, but glad you are in high spirits. Onward to November!

@Cole: @crunchy1: I'm in the same boat! We're NTNP, but haven't told anyone in person. I'm bursting to talk about it, though, so HB is a good outlet. Plus I love love love to read along and cheerlead for POASers!!

I'm about 4 DPO and got the flu shot the other day. My temp was higher this morning (which I expected). I know it's safe for pregnancy, but I'm not sure about TTC. Just more to overanalyze...but what's done is done at this point. Anyone else get the flu shot (or considering it) while TTC?
@Cole: @ABCmrs: Same here. It's hard to keep from my family since I see them a few times a week. Right now I still have a glass of wine here and there. Once I am pregnant they're going to know something's up if I don't get clever about it quick!
@MrsMcD: @Sprite: I check fertility friend WAY more times a day than I care to admit. Not sure what I'm expecting to change but I just can't seem to resist.

@crunchy1: I'm planning on getting my flu shot tomorrow. It's a non-negotiable for me, though, and as I said, we're NTNP, so not hard core about anything yet! And this is my first month off bc, so I'm not expecting much! I'll be on CD7 for the shot tomorrow.

@crunchy1: I got the flu shot last cycle (I work in schools, I can't do without it!). I didn't get pregnant, but I wasn't tracking ovulation last month either, so it could mean anything.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@bhbee: I think 9 dpo is a fine time to test!! But it's way too early to be disappointed if you see a negative!! Don't forget that!
@cmbknyc: I chart anything and everything!
@crunchy1: I'm 9 dpo and I just took a Tylenol!! I don't know about the flu shot, but I'm praying we are both in the clear.

@MrsMcD: I never really charted alcohol before but I got WASTED over Labor Day weekend, with my family of course, and my temp skyrocketed the next day. So now I try and note it, just in case!

@LindsayInNY: lol your family sounds just like mine! My biggest worry about potentially keeping a pregnancy secret for the first few months is that everyone will know the second I refuse a glass of wine!!

@loopedd: Luckily my parents are about 4 hours away so we don't see them a TON and DH's family is in MI and don't really drink. Before the chemical pregnancy, I was worried about hiding not drinking this past weekend (which obviously isn't a problem anymore...). Christmas will be the next time I'm around my family so if I'm not able to drink then, I'll have to figure out what to do!

@doxielove i'm sorry
super tired and almost dizzy today at 6dpo and almost feeling like my heart is racing (as if i had too much coffee or something).. the 11th can't come soon enough!!

@littleredhairedgrl: I hear you, nausea/fatigue symptoms are driving me crazy, even though I have them every month mid-2WW now (whether we are trying or not - I just seem to be really sensitive to progesterone changes since weaning). I am impressed you are holding out until the 11th!

So, I am pretty sure I just got a positive on an opk (I wish I had bought digitals, I figured for the first month the cheapies would be fine but instead they are making me crazy) and of course my husband was running late for work this morning and won't be home until after midnight tonight. I tried to convince him to come home midday but he thinks I am nuts.
It was almost positive or borderline last night. I am so afraid we are going to miss our window!

@bhbee i'm telling myself now i'm holding out till friday's blood test, but i can't be trusted alone in my house with a stash of upwards of 25 hpts! lol

@crunchy1: I got my flu shot today and I'm on CD 26. I'll start clomid next week. I told my PCP today about us trying, and she said it isn't a live virus and won't hurt anything.

10 DPO and a big fat negative. I suppose I can now focus on my giant project due tomorrow.....
ETA: I love to POAS early, said no one ever. So why do I /we do it?!

@CakeLady: @LindsayInNY: I wish I had a cake lady to bring me a cake right now to my office. I ate an entire large blueberry muffin to comfort my woes this morning.

@MrsMcD: I may chicken out on testing tomorrow (9dpo) . . . sometimes when the time comes I realize I don't want to see that BFN yet.
but I'm probably crazy enough to do it on the 1% chance something turns up!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@bhbee: I support your decision either way!! I will most likely now wait to test again until Monday, if I test at all. AF is expected to come on Monday. Oh, TTC. You were supposed to be fun!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@MrsMcD: it sucks . . . I think there is a 24-hour window of permission to eat whatever you want after any BFNs
