Hi ladies, I only just realised the October thread was up
Cycle number/months TTC: 14
Backstory: Have a 2 year old lo (who was concieved while on the pill, been trying for 14 months now, finally got pregnant back in June but miscarried.
CD: 21 (4dpo)
POAS date (if any): 24th October
Plan for this cycle: We had good timing this month thanks to opks (didn't use them last month)
What house project are you working on (if any): None! Just making shopping lists for xmas
Favorite thing about October: The weather is finally heating up here! I put up LO's paddling pool the other day which she has been loving!
So sorry to everyone who is out this month and good luck to everyone else waiting to test!

@MamaCate: Just sitting tight... Thursday is the day. I told DH it was dooms day and he's all optimistic. I just don't know anymore.

@AmeliaBedilia: Good luck with your new dr! Sounds promising she's willing to test whenever you'd like
@Tam: So sorry to hear that. I certainly agree with the others hat a second opinion is needed
Also - hello! I'll give some quick stats as I know I'll be hanging out here for a while.
Cycle number/months TTC: ugh. Too long (2+ years)
Backstory: PCOS, absolutely no ovulation on my own
CD: 4
POAS date (if any): nope! Keeping reading
Plan for this cycle: had panned for 3rd month of clomid with IUI. I went yesterday and have a big cyst on my ovary. Turns out OPKs aren't suitable for me. Even when they indicate "positive", I don't actually release the egg. It makes a big cyst instead My old obgyn had that suspicion (we've moved since). So we have to wait until it goes away (previously I needed surgery to remove cysts). Ugh. I've been so bummed. Lowest of my low during this process.
What house project are you working on (if any): Ha! When treatments fail, I shop. I've redone my living room in fall colors, repainted an end table, and cleaned away!! I want living room curtains next.
Favorite thing about October: decorating of course!!! Especially with pumpkins !

Joining this month a little late, lots of new stuff to fill everyone in on!
Cycle number/months TTC: 13 months ttc (13 is my lucky number!!!)
Backstory: DH and I started ttc in Sept. 2013 using bbt and opk's to help with timing, then in May I decided to go to the dr, did a HSG, SA, etc. All came back fairly normal. August we were referred to a RE and have been going ever since. This cycle is our first cycle of trying Clomid and today we did an IUI! It was included in our expensive package this month at the dr and figured "why not???" so there we were this morning!
CD: 17
POAS date (if any): BETA is on 11/4! (My parents 31st wedding anniversary!)
Plan for this cycle: Stay as relaxed as possible, low stress!!
What house project are you working on (if any): Ohhh, lots! I painted my front door, DH & his father rebuilt our front deck/porch, and all the finishing touches to our house reno's!
Favorite thing about October: Pumpkin everything, the weather, the leaves changing, Halloween/fall/harvest decorations, American Horror Story
GL to everyone this cycle, baby dust to all!!

I am back! After the cancelled holiday we were able to take last week off - we went on a cruise and it was so beautiful
No internet though, so I will have to catch up with what has been happening here.
My cycle is really messed up this month, FF kept changing my O date... I either ovulated 4 or 7 days late, wth?

Hi ladies, just checking in cuz I missed yall! So we did our second and final round of clomid in August. Had to stop there because I changed jobs and lost insurance. (DH and I are using these last few months of the year to pay off debt so we can afford the expensive Healthcare for those of us whose employers don't offer it ) Anyway, when AF arrived in September, I was sitting in my new hair stylist's chair when she started telling me how she was about to be meeting two children that she would be fostering and hopefully adopting. As she told me all about the agency and the process and her family, something in me clicked! I feel like a seed was planted. God gave me this strong desire to love on kids! So whether or not he gives us any more, I want to use this desire for good. I've talked to my husband and he agreed to go to an information meeting with me on Nov 4th. I'm not 100% convinced this is what we will do, but I'm certainly open to the thought.. and the meeting!
In the meantime, we will certainly keep ttc. So that brings me to this crazy cycle. I had a negative opk on cd 15 and 16. (I didn't have anymore test strips so those are the only days I tested). Then I started spotting 5 days ago on cd 19 and continued to today, when full blown AF arrived. WTH!?!? I guess I just didn't ovulate at all thus cycle. And that made me start early?? Like a full 7 days early? I'm so frustrated with my body. I'm going to call the RE we were seeing tomorrow and ask, but really since we're uninsured at the moment, I doubt I will get any real answers. Sigh.
Sorry for the book. It's just been awhile and I had so much to share with my girls!
@lindsayinny: I posted it on your original thread but I am seriously thrilled for you. You gave me hope! And I'm sure there are many others that feel the same way

CD 1 here, on to the next month! IUI #2 did not take for us. I'm totally bummed and pretty much heartbroken. The only redeeming thing about today was that the class I subbed for today was awesome, the kids were loving and it made me extra happy for my career change. I'm trying to focus on the positives in my life. My OB is referring us to an RE and in the meantime, I will have one last IUI with them. I was really hoping this month was our month...

@organicmama: Sending prayers that things work out the way that is best for you and your family.
@sarahnicole218: Big hugs! So disappointed for you. Be good to yourself!
5DPO here. I've been MIA- I was out of town for work for a week. We missed two key days, so we got O-4, O-1, O and O +1. I am telling myself that it won't happen without femara so I don't get my hopes up.

@organicmama: that's so awesome that you had this new seed planted!! I totally believe we have certain people come into our lives at different times to teach us things or help guide our way. It's great you are open to the options that may be our there for you in order to love more children.
@sarahnicole218: I'm sorry to hear your IUI didn't work. Good luck on the final IUI & with the RE.

@organicmama: I agree with @GoGoSnoGirl with believing different people come into your life at certain times for a certain reason. Good luck on Nov 4!!
@sarahnicole218: I'm so sorry to hear the IUI was not a success Good luck with the next one!! Thinkkng of you!
@AmeliaBedilia: GL! I'm one day ahead of you..6 dpo over here...time is totally dragging!!

@organicmama: [:heart:]
@sarahnicole218: oh no, so sorry! Big hugs!
with my weird cycle, I am either DPO 5 or 8... or I did not ovulate at all. Such a strange month!

@busylizzy111: welcome back! Sounds like a fun trip! Sorry your cycle has been confusing--I had one of those last month and am pretty sure I didnt actually o. Hope things smooth out for you!
@organicmama: great to hear from you and I agree with others about fortuitous timing. Keep us posted about the meeting next week too! I am a therapist for kids in foster care so I would be happy to talk with you more at some point if you want. It is something we hope to do in the future too.
@AmeliaBedilia: sounds like pretty good timing! It is hard to deal with the cycle of hope and disappointment so do whatever you have to do!
Afm, FF and I have had some disagreements over my chart but I think we now agree I o'ed on cd16 which puts me at 3dpo. At first it had me at cd12 which is really early for me. Timing wasn't perfect but we managed to get O-3, O-2 abd O+1. I am feeling a little hopeful but trying to guard my heart too. Good thing Halloween is coming soon to distract me!

Guys, this TWW is killing me. I'm 9DPIUI. I go for a beta on Tuesday and time is draggggggging! I had creamy cm today...didn't think much of it...but then I thought that it was more than usual at the stage of the month. I went to Dr. Google and they told me its an early sign of pregnancy. But I'm probably overthinking it all! Who else is in their TWW and how are they doing???
pomegranate / 3595 posts
@nicole112: ooh you are almost there! I know it is hard but I would try not to symptom spot too much--I feel like almost anything could be a sign of being KU or just of AF coming. Of course, I hope it is KU for you!
I am 5dpo and my temps spiked considerably so I think I did actually o this month which is encouraging. Temp dip yesterday and then back up today. There are too many variables to read too much into it though: toddler night weaklings, having a cold, the temp in the house dropping, etc etc. so I am just trying to be distracted until AF is late...

Omg guys...I've never ever ever ever got a positive BFP and I woke up this morning and asked DH if I should just take a test...today is 10DPIUI and I said it could be early so it'll prob be negative but let's just seeee...and we thought our minds were playing tricks on us...but I think I see something!! What do you think??!!
