Cycle number/months TTC: 26 cycles, 24 months
Backstory: Unexplained infertility, all tests normal for me and DH. Currently in 2ww after 3rd IUI with letrazole/ovidrel
CD: 8DPO
POAS date (if any): Wed 10/8 if no AF before then!
Plan for this cycle: this was our last letrazole/IUI cycle before we have to consider IVF. If we do have to pursue IVF, we will probably take a couple months off before we start so that we can enjoy the holidays without being bogged down by treatments and drs appts. really hoping we dont get to that point
What house project are you working on (if any): hoping to tackle some kitchen renovations soon!!
Favorite thing about October: perfect weather for sweaters and boots!

Backstory: PCOS diagnosed about a year ago, very irregular cyles, occasional annovulation. First IUI cycle was last month, on to IUI #2 this month.
CD: CD7
POAS date (if any): Should be October 29th
Plan for this cycle: Clomid days 3-7 (yay today is the last day of it!), IUI day after positive OPK (switched to Wondfos to use 3 times per day), acupuncture (got my first treatment on Tuesday, loved it)
What house project are you working on (if any): I'm not looking forward to it, but we are re-roofing our sunroom which will be nice to just have done. And then we plan to renovate our main floor bathroom!
Favorite thing about October: Pumpkin everything

@AmeliaBedilia: fx that it is a bad test or too early. The temp spike looks promising but it is hard to pin too much on one day. You should know either way the next few days and Iam so hoping for a positive for you!!

Ok. It's CD1 for me, and I think I'm going to try to check back in with you ladies this month.

I got into a hard place dealing with being 9 months past MC and still not KU, so I took a break from all the POAS threads.

But I've had my first WTF appointment with my doc, so I have a little more hope this month.

Backstory: Got KU in december while NTNP. MC in Jan/Feb. TTC since first full cycle in Feb.
CD: 1
POAS date (if any): Probably Nov. 6? could change due to meds.
Plan for this cycle: Had 6dpo bloodwork done, and as I suspected, have low P. So I'll be using Wandfo OPKs (and maybe verifying with digitals) and taking prometrium from 2DPO-14DPO.
What house project are you working on (if any): We aren't really working on it, but I'm still bugging my husband to get a contractor in to measure so we can start redoing our kitchen.
Favorite thing about October: All the things. It's my birth month, it's postseason baseball, and it's sweatshirt weather.

@MamaCate: Last month my chart was like that and it drew me batty. I ended up getting dotted crosshairs late. I hate when my body just doesn't want to cooperate! Happy anniversary!

@MamaCate: I had the opposite last month. Of course the ONE month I didn't use OKPs...

I ended up fudging my results to get the right O day, and AF was only one day late, so I'm pretty confident I fudged correctly.

I found them helpful at first, but I started using them in the cycle after my MC...and I seriously had no idea what was going on! It was nice to be able to pinpoint O.

For several months after that, I had solid crosshairs and probably could have done without. I tend to O on CD14 or 15, so knowing that, I don't "need" them. But I've grown accustomed to them and I think they settle some anxiety about worrying about missing O

A couple months ago I started trying to relax (after my husband commented on peeing in a cup being a "hobby"!). I ditched the digitals and just used Babi or Wondfos. Last month I didn't use any at all but got anxious again.

Since we're starting the shell out more money on hormones this month, I want to go back to them so we can be more accurate in our timing. DH often works nights, so if we want to have a good chance one of us will have to stay up late or wake up super early. I'd rather not do that unless I know we need to!

ok, let's do the stats first

Backstory: 1 mc in April, nothing since
CD: 10
POAS date (if any): early Nov
Plan for this cycle: will explain further down
What house project are you working on (if any): we have a new apartment where my husband lives fulltime, there is lots to do when I am there (I work in a different city during the week). This month our dining room table will come, that means we can install the dining room lights. We have to find some art and I will work on unpacking
Favorite thing about October: pumpkin, leaves, hopefully sunshine and sweater/boots weather - wearing my boots today for the first time!

Updating this made me sad.... I did not realize it has been a year already

I am so sad/mad... dh's vacation got cancelled by his work yesterday. We wanted to leave tomorrow. the bad part: It was also planned to be a babymaking holiday.... and as I wrote above, we are in two different locations during the week. And when do I ovulate next week? Wed/Thu. Awesome.

DH got really sad when I told him about our chances being slim this month due to the cancelled holiday
So, I guess I will come down to his town wednesday late night and drive back thursday really early... oh the things we do I don't want to take thursday and friday off and "waste" my vacation time (especially as he will have to work lots to make sure we can go for our holiday the next week)

a ttc booty call!

So we finally plucked up the courage to get tested after +- 17 months TTC. DH went for a SA and it turns out he has a zero sperm count. Really not what we were expecting. Doctor said there is no chance of conceiving a baby naturally. We were devastated but holding onto the hope that the test was incorrect and that God will answer our prayers and give us our miracle baby. Good luck to the rest of you lady's.

@LindsayInNY: Nope, no reason, just said that conception would not be possible if there is no sperm at all and when I asked if there was anything else we could do he just said NO !! Wasn't very helpful at all. We want to get another test done in 3 months, going to put DH on Fertilaid etc and hope and pray there is a change in the SA results. If not, then we will go see a urologist. I always thought the problem was me. Never gave it a thought that it could be DH.

@LindsayInNY: We were so shocked during the appointment that we kind of just wanted to get out of there before we both broke down into tears . Everything else on the test was normal, colour, volume, PH, viscosity. All normal but zero sperm. Feels unreal. Like this cant be happening to me ! You are right, I shouldn't wait, think im going to make an appointment for next week.

@Tam: Go to a urologist. An OB or PCP has no business saying a word without evaluating your husband. Find one that specializes in infertility. It could be a blockage, it could be a congenital issue, and more rarely, it could be that the testes are not producing sperm. Your DH will require some blood work and possibly a procedure to detect the cause.
